Anyone else get the impression that Fantano isn't honest? I was looking at his RYM and he gives a lot of 10s, and he gives 10s to the same classics that everyone expects to get a 10. It's like he feels he'll get backlash if he doesn't give 10s to certain albums. IDK but I think 10s should be really special, not just the same albums everyone expects to get a 10.

I feel that, I personally have not watched one of his videos in a while (4 months). He does defend the scores he gives to albums very well (like any good critic). He also is a very pretentious music nerd, so thats another reason why he does not give tens out willy-nilly like.
I also agree with you. the appeal of this guy is that he does not toss out 10's like its the local thotty, because no one will go to him if it was so damn easy to get a perfect score.
Sorry guys but once you take off the nostalgia glasses, this is better than SILY and will be the AOTY and quite possibly the AOTDecade

This album is a classic example of how we, as a group, are unable to separate an artist's personal life/personality from his work. This is an absolute 9/10 album and a great effort, BUT all /mu/ sees is how the band's frontman is a furry and is deluded that he visited this nigerian sweater-making forum to promote his album.
Why is it so difficult for you to look at this album without the artist in the picture? And enjoy it for once rather than bickering like women
