How the hell do you listen to music?
I can't pay attention to a whole song, let alone an album, minus random lapses of time where I mystically am focused on the music, I otherwise can not focus on this shit.
There's almost zero stimulation. Be it poppy dance music or long winded "gorgeous" experimental music. No difference. All have no engagement.
But I know most of your secrets.
Most of you are fake as fuck and put on albums while browsing /mu/ or doing something else.
Most of you are no different than me, music provides little to no stimulation for you.
So you guys instead give music half-assed listens by having it playing while you are focused on something else.
That is not listening. You are phonies.
Admit it, outside the prodigal few of you who can perfectly focus on whatever they want, you can not listen to music without being focused on something else that stimulates you.

Let's talk about Xanax music. My friends and I are all in college and its fucking huge. A lot of the guys in my fraternity, and theirs, eat sticks for fun on a daily basis. People like future have made music that basically only makes sense on Xanax and or another downer (especially with alcohol).

It's surprisingly good country. Kinda typical radio cowboy stuff in some parts but he mixes it up with some post-punk/alternative influences. Think Wilco mixed with Swans mixed with George Strait. The final 2 tracks have an almost psychedelic dub feel. Aldean uses a wide range of influences and merges it with a classic country twist to create something unique yet familiar. I couldn't recommend it enough.
Protip: Smoke a few bowls to this and it'll become clear.
