I'm in a band with my mates, and for our senior year we got to participate in a "Battle of the Bands" in which the title is self explanatory.
Our band was to play last, and all of the other bands before ours played the exact same songs we were going to play.
I told the crowd that it was a bummer, but we were going to play them anyway, in which we did.
Did I make the right choice?

Brian Wilson doing Pet Sounds is incredible, but the only other worthwhile acts are like, Battles, Beach House, Tortoise, Bardo Pond, and Julia Holter. Everything else is just teenager mainstream indie crap or old guys playing their heavily dated stuff like Shellac or Dinosaur Jr.
