Is shoegaze inherently psychedelic or is this a mix of psychedelic rock and shoegaze?
I'd like to think that shoegaze is psychedelic or stoner for obvious resason. such as sweet trips velocity design comfort. It's considered shoegaze but I think it's very psychedelic for its sound
Shoegaze is a subgenre of neo-psychedelia.

Also they were part of the group of bands that established shoegaze, so they're definitely shoegaze.

I know that pantera is not a loved band in this board, but i think they were fairly good. (they were not amazing or anything though).

they were a phenomenally tight band.
The live album is just really humbling, phil is incredible. Props to the whole crew, but i've never been more impressed by a metal singers live vox as I was for phil at his peak.
