Explain yourself.
how about you explain yourself, why you think you cannot make that claim unless you also play music
I make sounds on ableton and they sound nice together. Come on over to the soundcloud thread to hear em
>Claims to like books

>William Basinski, Tim Hecker, OPN make pretentious electronic music that doesn't push boundaries
>AOTY AOTD GOAT
>Holly Herndon makes pretentious electronic music that doesn't push boundaries
>Wow so bland so pretentious who listens to this?
Is /mu/ sexist?
Platform wasn't a very good album.
Movements was, though.

Have to disagree OP. If that is a 10/10, than Watch Out! is at least an 11.

"No."
It's a bastardization of blues played by some unfunny white guy and no one should still be listening to it in 2016
"Everything you've known about rock and roll is a lie"
Over rated? Under rated? Best TTC project? Timeless classic? Complete shit? This album has made me feel things I've never felt before.. I feel this album needs more recognition. TTC is better than 95% of rap/hip hop artists after this LP IMO

Metal is theatrical and has a preference for push moshing, circlepits etc
Hardcore is more "real", focused more on crowd interaction and "hardcore dancing"
Both have their entry-level kid friendly bands and underground shit.
Metalcore bands can even fall under the metal banner (Trivium, Killswitch Engage) or the hardcore banner (Parkway Drive, The Ghost Inside)

is there anyone that thinks you can't?
I think I've accurately dissected the groups on /mu/:
>Pedestrian
>Not at all aware of music below surface level; does not care about music beyond it being background noise for partying
>Favorites: Whatever is Top 40 right now and a few classics
>Dadrocker
>Believe that music hasn't been good since Kurt Cobain died. High levels of rockism.
>Favorites: Pink Floyd, ACDC,...
