Why does this feel so different from their other albums?

Use of samples.
Protip: it doesn't.

- it's a mixtape
- it features info warrior aka megazord aka chris oldham on co-production
why even talk about other music when she's the only musician worth talking about?

Wow I'm such a poseur faggot! Look at me, /mu/! I enjoy shitty obscure pseudo-intellectual music!
Why don't you insecure fucktards count how many shits I give, shape that number out of a noose, and stick your head through it.

/mu/ , Which album are essential for the progressive rock?
King Crimson - In the Court of the Crimson King
Jethro Tull - Thick as a Brick
Yes - Close to the Edge
Rush - A Farewell to Kings
Genesis - Foxtrot
Procol Harum - A Salty dog
there's the basic entry level, but if you like it you are obligated to check out each one of those bands, there's pure gold in their other releases.
then once you have a good feel for prog, check out krautrock
Pic related is also a very good intro to italian prog. Semiramis - Dedicato A Frazz

Someone get this shill out of here.
>Band: Veil Of Maya
>Album: The Common Man's Collapse
>Year: 2008
This is probably my favorite album to date. This band brings a lot to the table as far as the deathcore scene goes. The songs on this album are very catchy and technical. I would highly recommend this album to any metal fan. I wish this band got more praise for their work.

>Album: Orphan

Fast as fuck harmonic, melodic grindcore exploring the psychology of war. 12 minutes and 8 seconds of pure energy. Takafumi Matsubara said he wanted to evoke "hopeless anger" and it delivers completely. Crazy precise drumming, guitar riffs that alternate between technical and simplistically emotional, and vocals that have the urgency and panic of a man on fire combined with the precision of, well, Jon Chang.

Not really
What's so bad about Hot Topic?
It's an unwelcome reminder of a past when everyone here was even more cringe than they are now.
It's a place where fashion and music collide and "underground" music is commercialized. I used to shop there though, and I bought a Between the Buried and Me CD there, which was unexpected. I also used to be all about the colored skinny jeans and talking to girls with cool hair who cut themselves though. I should start seeking out qt borderline scene girls and dressing like a faggot again because life has been much worse since I stopped doing that.
I used to go there to get punk shirts until I was 14, then i either got them at the swap meet or online
