Flaws that prevent an album from being 10/10
>bad singing
>annoying mixing
>>63643371
This is why people hate 4chan.
10/10
You got me OP
>>63643411
The singing is objectively bad. They're straining themselves too hard. They sound like so close to passing out.
I'm about to marathon the first 30 seconds of the first track of this album, what can I expect?
Silence, acoustic guitar. Hope it helps
>>63643131
Oh, should I bite the bullet and go through with it? I don't want to waste my time, those are thirty seconds I'll never get back.
Out of sync poorly played acoustic guitar. I fucking adore this album by the way
How come no one gave any interest in this album whatsoever ? why is it so underrated ? 23 fucking years and it's not fucking legend ?
I really liked it, but if someone can clear things to me that'll be great.
becuase its shit. all it takes for an album to be skipped over and forgotten is terrible reviews. there are a few good tracks but the unbearable filler do not compliment them.
No idea. Personally, I loved it and the RSD single that came with it bodes well for their next album. This was their first album as a three piece with guests on bass and back-up vocals. But, hopefully, with Paz fully in the band and involved in the recording process, their next album with fair much better.
I'm pretty sure everyone loved wishing they would make another album, but never wanting them to actually do it, lest they be disappointed. And to anyone that mentions Kim or lack of Kim on this album, she was barely on writing or vocal duties on their last two...
Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.

I hope man, i hope.
I hope they're in for a real fucking comeback, and who knows, maybe they will get the honor they deserve. Such an underrated band.
Now that the dust has settled, thoughts /mu/?

Stop posting this forever, please. Thanks
Do you listen to any bands/artists from your local area?
Pic related

my favorite band is local

Providence has an incredible scene
I went to college with these guys and partied with them a bunch. They're getting pretty big in the northeast lately last time I checked.
It's like Bob Dylan vocals with punk rock, I really like it.
Police general. Used to listen to them a lot when I was younger but just kinda stopped for some reason, going back and listening through their stuff again now. Way ahead of their time, totally genius. Favorite songs, album rankings, stories about Sting being a fuckhead, "Andy Summer is underrated as a guitarist", etc go here.
Copeland is superb on the sticks - the drummer's drummer.
Love King of Pain and Next To You.
Outlandos d'Amour>Synchronicity imo
Good band, don't know why mu doesn't talk about them more
>>63642813
There are a ton of really really good bands that /mu/ just ignores. The Police is one of the best examples.

frick off
About to listen to this. Everyone and their mother has been warning me not to.
Should I heed their warnings? I've been preparing myself all day but I'm still scared about what if they're right about this album being pure memer shit. Wish me luck.
Shitty indie rock version of Trout Mask Replica for poseurs
>le goofy quirky guitar music
lol, this fucking board, though
worst band of all time
What are some of /mu/'s favorite Bowie covers?
Right now, I seem to be incapable of listening to anything other than the Melvins cover of Station to Station: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pabmB-2SFsA
Blondie - Heroes
https://youtu.be/ABEqQKlWLC0
>>63642188
Not bad, but that song is so perfect that no cover can really do it justice. Bowie's finest moment imo.
Blondie's take on Heroes is good as someone has said. I also think Nirvana's TMWSTW is worthy of the original.
>>63642460
I dunno. The vocals aren't anywhere near Bowie's, but whose are? The rest retains the rich darkness of the original, while also adding a grime to it, adding an extra dimension.
What are the best entries in the DJ-Kicks and Fabric/Fabriclive mix series?
And are there any other DJ mixes or mix series I should know about?
Fabriclive 50 and Fabric 69 are my favourites, by far. DJ Kicks has gone to shit in recent years, but Motor City Drum Ensemble's mix was decent.
>>63642175
Depends what you like for a start, they cover techno, house, breaks and garage.
>>63642279
Oh, and Fabriclive 71.
why is he so based /mu/?
my /prod/ inspiration
