Jesus H. Christ this is an uneventful, boring album. I mean, for background music while playing videogames, yeah, it's alright, but there's a ton of better stuff out there for that purpose. Namely, just about anything with guitars in it. The video for "Frontier Psychiatrist" is entertaining, though, even if the song isn't. Maybe I'm old-fashioned, or really used to guitar-driven music, but I just can't get into this group. This shit is way overrated.

I remember when I was a teenager in Juvenile Hall and every day they would play that video for locked up on the tv so I grew to like it.

I feel kind of ashamed but Car Seat Headrest is my favorite band of all time right now. There's just something so genuinely fucking good about every album Will puts out. There are technically plenty of "better" bands out there, but Car Seat Headrest is just consistently always my favorite.
I've gotten to the point where some days I just don't feel like listening to anything, but once CSH comes on I'm fucking jamming.
