Damn...
Which one do you like the most?
John
pete best
Paul wrote the most songs I liked.
John wrote songs I liked the most.
George brought the most innovation to the band's sound and rock music as a whole.
Ringo a nice.
Overall, I'd pick George Martin.
Thoughts on this guy?
Listened for the first time yesterday, I started with the "Virgins" album and it's really good, which one should I listen next?

Harmony > Ravedeath > Imaginary Country > Virgins > Love Streams
tim hecker is absolute garbage. he has no skill at melody or harmony, no skill at layering texture, no skill at conceptual ideas. he's a fucking hack.
no wonder you fucking teenagers like him.

Interesting opinion, what are some of your favorite ambient artists?
>Elvis, the white nigger
>Ate a king burger and just kept getting bigger
What did Bono mean by this?
>>64048505
I actually want to know why he made this song/lyric
>our hopes and dreams will be nevermore
>working our way at the damn Money Store
what did she mean by this?
>Hello we're Slint, and this is our band
>Welcome to the Spiderland
Why do I consider this the greatest album of all time again?
When did you grow out of Odd Future?
I'm glad to say I never liked them
Never
I didn't even know what they were until 2015. Ive seen the ofwta or something like that but didn't know what it was.
tfw you are incredibly self critical of your own music but you still think it's better than a lot of stuff that gets released on somewhat popular labels. tfw none of those labels ever listen or respond to the music you send them and this makes you start to doubt the quality of your work.
Music for this feel?
The Thread - Posting A Pictures of a Girl from Twin Peaks Only Leads to the Discussion of Them
they recognize appeal, not quality

Damn son, I fucked that post up
post the JUST of music
What went wrong?
>Album uses cars and planes starting/flying as """"""""ambient"""""" pieces.
>albums has samples of flipping a record or putting a cassette into a cassete player

That's a pretty cute bunny

Man this movie is going to turn so many young kids into furries
How do you discover new music?
I:
>go to RYM, check charts
>go to AllMusic, check similar albums
>check the /mu/ wiki for charts
Also,
>pic unrelated
real critics >>> RYM
I don't
I just listen to the same stuff I always have since I was a teenager and then tell everyone else they have shit taste
>>64048142
>reading reviews
Wew lad
No /mu/core.
>I got 99 problems but a bitch ain't one
WHAT? How the fuck do people think this line is witty or clever? It makes less sense than the fucking entire Monster verse. Jay-Z is a fucking hack, holy fuck. I am fucking seething with anger.
Nobody thought that line was clever.
>>64048089
Why did this take you until 2016?
>>64048089
>Listening anything other than "Reasonable Doubt"
That's your problem
>/mu/ Doesn't listen to Phish

Okay, so I'm currently living in Mexico and have the chance to buy tickets to see Black Sabbath play Mexico City for the last time ever on their "final" tour.
I'm a massive fan of their first 5 albums, but kinda hate everything that came after (although 13 honestly wasnt too bad).
So my question: does /mu/ think it'd be worth spending a fair amount of money to see a classic, monumental band that hasn't had a good album in 4 decades? Have any /mu/tants seen Sabbath live recently? Were they actually good, or was it a painful experience?
Thanks...

i saw the rolling stones recently. it was totally worth it, but that's mostly cause jagger's in great shape
If changes, snowblind, and sabbath bloody sabbath or on the set fuck yes, but if they're just going to paranoid the fuck out of it then idk
tony iommi is going to die soon so yeah if you're a fan i'd do it
Heard this live and thought it was amazing..
Was completely underwhelmed by the actual album itself.
What happened?
I dont get the hate man
Mr noah, come to your senses, tropic of cancer, boys latin, lonely wanderer and selfish gene are all great songs
same with Painting with I was disapointed of the album but it was fucking good live
That's standard practice for AnCo. amazing concepts executed so well live have a tendency to wilt in the studio. I really think his vGR tour had some of his best shows
We're about a day away from the biggest funposting event of the year
>Who do you think will have the best performance?
>Who do you think will have the worst performance?
>Which artists are you the most hyped to see?
pathetic self-pity bump
Nosaj Thing would be cool to see
this guy I know got a prostate infection from going to coachella and I've been kind of thinking about that constantly since he told me. how? what happened? I feel like it would be weird to ask but I'm not sure if I'll be able to move on from this
