- Check the archive for a live link before requesting?
- Check the pastebin to see if it was in a discography or essentials folder?
- Share something first?
- google "blogspot + artist name + album name"
>I don't have anything to share!
- Have a Goodwill, thrift store or library in your area? Try picking up the most obscure thing you can find there and share it. Somebody might be happy you shared it!

Yura Yura Teikoku - Hollow Me/Beautiful (2009, 320kbps)
>japanese, psychedelic rock, krautrock

The Sonora Pine - s/t (1996)
>Folk, alternative rock, violin, slowcore at times
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ium_PtQcphE
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bRPiaYLAZ9s
http://www.mediafire.com/download/c55hly4d7p3bhjb/
The Sonora Pine's first album was a super-group of good ideas and members: Tara Jane O'Neil, bass player of Rodan, Kevin Coultas who was the drummer for Rodan, Sean Meadows who played in June Of 44 and Lungfish, pianist Rachel Grimes of neoclassical ensemble Rachel's, and improv violinist Samara Lubelski. They all came together to make this half hard rocker and half whimsy/sulking, lay down in the dark album. Meadows and O'Neil trade vocal duties, which only makes the latter's shine more really. Kevin Coultas does the drums an does 'em good, as well as operating tape loops in certain tracks to great effect. Lubelski's contributions to the album really pop out, making it more than another run of the mill indie rock album.
Joe Bataan - Subway Joe (1969, v0)
>soul, boogaloo, salsa
>One of our favorite Latin soul albums ever -- a rollicking mix of upbeat party tracks, gentle ballads, and more -- all handled with the undeniable magic that is Joe Bataan at his best! The album kicks off with the fantastic groover "Subway Joe" -- a hilarious tune about Joe trying to find a seat on the subway -- and it rolls into killers like "Nuevo Jala Jala", "Juanito", "Ponte En Algo", and the wonderfully emotive "Special Girl". There's a really wonderful quality to all the tunes -- honest, open, and done with instrumentation that includes lots of dark passages, yet which also continues to flower in hope! A landmark, and a record that delights us again and again over the years!

The For Carnation - Fight Songs (EP) (1995)
>Slowcore, post-rock
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ne0r_QugTmA
http://www.mediafire.com/download/dnm6m834zre8lhj/
The For Carnation was Brian McMahan's project after Slint, and Fight Songs was the first thing they released. A short EP composed of three songs, the first and last detailing a narrative of a man accepting that someone important to him is leaving his life, as he wishes them well. The first track is a masterpiece to the nth degree of slowcore, with the third being a worthy followup. The second track is a real jovial jaunt by contrast about a minute and a half long, nice song but kind of against the grain here. David Pajo, former fellow band member of Slint, plays guitar on this EP as well.

we /diy/ now, keep it up. Gonna put this humbucker in parallel, no switching.
THE ABSOLUTE
Also removing the pole pieces from one side. Going for a weak, anemic, Rickenbacker tone.
Actually, before I forget, I was thinking of leaving the air coil always on even though I know it'll pick up a bit from the neighboring pole pieces, since the other pickup in the guitar is a single coil and hum cancelling could be nice. Thoughts?
