I have around 4000rds of 115gr 9mm ball and hardly any hollow points. I just can't bring my self to stockpile the defensive ammo when it's almost 2x the cost.
But I just had what might be a great idea. Tell me why I cant make jig that locates and secures the case rim, and drill out the tip on a drill press.
I already Googled it, and can't find anyone doing it on a drill press with a jig.

Yeah you could do that but it won't have the same effect as a HP that was factory made. FMJ is fine.
A couple days ago was my first time at a gun range.
I shot a 1911, glock 19, and a cz 75.
The Glock 19 hit me and my girlfriend in the forehead with several casings. Is this normal for a Glock 19?
I was more accurate with the Glock 19 than either the CZ 75 or the 1911 but i'm kind of concerned that the casings were striking both me and my GF in the forehead.
Is this normal?

don't you think if the rental gun had mechanical problems the staff would have fixed them instead of continuing to rent a dysfunctional gun? considering the glock is at least 10 ounces lighter than each of the other guns you shot and thus subject to greater recoil, i suspect you were limp wristing.

I fucking hate when people say this shit. You don't know me, and you don't actually give a fuck about what me or my friends have been through. People say "Thank you for your service" to get acknowledged by a stranger, and it's annoying. At best, it's a trivial statement that means nothing.
Don't be a sperg. He didn't acknowledge you. You don't have to get accusatory about it. Leave vets the fuck alone man, we only give a stern thank you and a bit of conversation because it's the only polite way to handle some retard saying meaningless shit to us for trivial reasons.

I am curious if anyone here as any experience with these trigger systems or if they knew of a great one that was relatively universal. I know that these typically seem like gimmicks, but after firing my ex military friends m4(in full auto) and his AR15 with a slidefire, I bought one, and am very happy with it. I guess the main question is, does anyone know of an assisted trigger system that works, and what do they think of/or know about the hypergat. Also a general explanation of how they work would be great, ive seen different models, some people using strings, cranks, a bunch of different locks. Thanks.

Are there any little saturday night special type pistols worth having? It sounds like they're all trash. I was thinking about keeping one in a hallowed out book or hidden somewhere in my computer room. I have a safe and other pistols, but I don't like the idea of owning a safe, a nice expensive pistol, and then not keeping it in a safe in the first place. Also something I can just throw in my pocket on a summer day is a bonus.
