Is this the future of tank killing?
Fast and lightweight all-terrain vehicles with several ATGM tubes?

they could probably work in a support role but as a dedicated AT weapon nah, they'd be too much of a target even if they were fast moving.

Move forward or flank outward, get into an unlikely positiong... lurking behind the crest of a hill, or down in a depression, the only part exposed is the camera and tubes. Tanks unaware, rolling forward to meet & greet at the line of battle - easy pickings for elite ATGM operators. Then zoom off to the next spot. Like an elite sniper, but with vehicles.
>>
No, why would you believe that this is any better then a drone with missiles. You'd be less likely to notice a drone and hit it with small arms.

Hey /k/

So I completed my lower a few months ago and I got stuck when it came to buying the upper. Gun friend suggested I buy it pre-assembled to save money and time. My budget for the upper is around $500-$700 (slightly above $700 is fine)

My question is from your experiences, what's the best upper to get for the price? Is there any advantages to a gas system over a piston system? What are the differences in 1:7 to 1:8 twists? Should I be concerned if it's chrome lined?

The lower is a Anderson if anyone was curious with FDE handle (picture unrelated)

Got my PSA freedom upper for $209. 1:8 twist barrel, 5.56. decent accuracy for the price.
>>
>>29970658
Go for piston if you can, it's generally more reliable and has to be cleaned less frequently. And for barrel twists you generally want to go for a higher number, ie 1:8 > 1:7, I think that's how it goes at least

>One of the things that struck me was that walking around with camo on and with a rilfe was a problem, even the 'grey man' had issues as well. As Raptor had stated, your best bet is to hole up somewhere and be invisible.

Before Katrina, Florida had a series of hurricanes hitting us. After each hurricane we lost power for a week, and once lost power for almost a month.

Bought some MREs for myself, need to buy more as well as a better first aide kit and book, and have a collection of guns. I'm more than ready for next hurricane God willing. Course I don't have a generator either but will get one eventually. Being without power was fun though, I wasn't on my phone or internet as often as now and miss it.

How does giving a gun to someone work?

I have two (and a half) scenarios I'd like to be sure of before the ATF shows up at my house.

1.
>bought the lower online
>transferred through an FFL
>background check passed
>took parts home
>built AR, would like to gift to my mother.
What do?

2.
>Simply bought pistol
>battle buddy says "can I keep did?"
>decide sure, it's yours.
Can he simply keep it?

2.5.
>built every component of the gun in my garage besides the springs and hardware
>no back ground check or serial number
Is this legal as long as I don't sell it to anyone?

State is FL btw.

This is the perfect moment for the ATF to speak up, I know you're here somewhere.
>>
>>29970254

I hope I don't derail your thead OP, I'm curious to hear the answers to your questions, and I have one of my own (I guess basically similar to your second question)

>Have girlfriend
>girlfriend gets spooky (if you know what I mean) activity near her house
>I let her borrow my gun for self home defense
>She is qualified for all reasons to buy a gun of her own as far as a 4473 is concerned, to my knowledge
>>
>>29970254
Because you bought the gun for your own personal collection. And decided later (after deciding to buy the gun, building it, and after actually purchasing it) to give it away. It is perfectly legal to do so as long as you complete a bill of sale for both you and your brother
As long as you had no intention of buying the gun for the sole purpose of giving or selling it to someone else (a straw purchase) you're fine
Now it does look suspicious if the gun trades hands so quickly
But as long as they can't get evidence that you were intending to make a straw purchase and more importantly as long as your brother doesn't rob a gas station or something stupid like that, that would lead to the gun coming to the attention of authorities, you're legally fine.

Would the US target this in the event of war?

>retarded liberal teacher forces us to watch an anti gun "documentary"
>literally nitpicking galore
>goes to some backwards inbred shithole town in Michigan and talks about gun laws to a bunch of nervous, mentally ill conspiracy theorists
>doesn't talk to a single normal gun owner
>one of the conspiracy tards makes a compelling speech about how the government lies and manipulates us
>interviewer laughs him off
>literally 10 minutes later they show clips of how the government lied about middle eastern and south American wars

This wasn't even the worst part

>conspiracy tard talks about how it's his right in the constitution to own arms
>interviewer says "Oh,so you think people should be allowed to own nuclear missles because they're technically arms?"
>"No,there's a diff-"
>"OH,SO Now it's okay to restrict SPECIFIC arms!"

I can't handle this shit anymore. It doesn't help that in every scene with a gun the interviewer has his finger on the trigger.

Point out all of the flaws as the film is playing, then chuckle sensibly when the teacher attempts to refute your points. Use as many shitposting tactics as you can.

What's the most reliable AK under $900?

I understand this thread probably shows up a lot but there wasn't one around and I didnt feel it belonged in akg or qtddtot. I'm looking for a cheap general purpose AK (x39) with all wood furniture... problem is it seems that cheap means garbage.

My lsg has two century arms for $600 (N-PAP undefolder and an M70 W-PAP) but I've heard a lot of bad things about them. I've heard WASR10's are good though, but is it only marginally better?

Also I've heard cast trunnion's are garbage, as are Romanian AK's. I don't know what's shillery, what's autism, or what's accurate. I just want to avoid wasting my money. So are these things as bad as people say? If so, what's the cheapest AK that is as little of these things as possibru?

Do you think there is people who join terrorist organizations like ISIS and FARC just to be able to use weapons without caring about warcrimes or gun control?
Would you join an extremist organization to mustard gas people?

I think it'd be easier to get into organizations that aren't on America's shitlist.

Nobody will stop you from fighting with a military that serves the foreign policy of their country.

For starters, how come these Russian soldiers or marines have both sickle and hammer insignia and the Russian double headed eagle on their berets?

Almost everyone can be a grunt if they try. SF and French foreign legion, probably not. The physical standards for those tend to be so high almost no women can make it.
