Any friendly Texanons within 2 hours of San Antonio have any land they don't mind being used for shooting? I'm sick and goddamn tired of paying 60$ to a range just to be able to shoot my own guns, not including the cost of ammo, then not even being able to use my slide fire stock or have a smoke.
Clean up any garbage I'd find, leave no trace, pick up my shells, share my ammo and have a good time. Anything to get away from giving these fucking retards more money so they can tell me how to use my own guns.

The whole F35 is shit thing came from troubling information that is now years old. If you had asked me five years ago if the F35 was shit, I'd have said "Yeah, it's shaping up to be."
Then we learned more about the program, about it's capabilities and how a lot of the problems were testing safe guards. Now, I think they F35 is going to be a worthy, but maybe not quite great, plane. At least not as great as it could have been if they hadn't tried to make one airframe for three services but that's just me.

Honestly, something that goes about 1200 fps, always fires, and always expands. Don't overthink it. It is not a rifle, shot placement is more important than bullet design.
This is why I just load my own. 124gr XTPs at about 1250 fps. INB4 you are fucked in court if you shoot someone with reloads. NO, you are not. Any good lawyer will defeat this if it even goes to court.

How would someone go about getting a 20mm rifle?
I'm not actually sure about specifics of different 20mm cartridges or guns, so I don't know which would be most common or expensive, etc. I don't know how to go about finding or acquiring one either, of course. Would it be purchasing a 20mm upper for a specially made lower after the whole tax stamp process? How much would the whole thing cost, approximately?
As I sort of implied, I really have no clue about things outside of traditional guns and cartridges, so I'm expecting to hear at least one person say something about summer in this thread.

recently bought a pellet gun so i can take my sisters kid out shooting cans in the back yard.
today I visited them again and he brought over half his school class this time.
I think i just got 10 kids hooked on guns. some of their parents asked if i knew any shooting clubs around.

Here there's a thing called Young Shooters that you can be part of from 14 to 20 years old. You learn to use the SIG 550, the swiss army rifle, and come to the shooting range every Saturday. The teenagers can even come back home with the rifle during those 4 months

we have an organisation here in norway that kids can join, and they can buy their own rifle at 14 I think, its only bolt actions though but guns and ammo are state subsidised,.
its also possible to join the national guard at 15, and basically get military training and shoot G3s
I'm trying to get some school shooting competitions going, its a national sport over here actually, but not many people know about it, its a school vs school thing in junior high

It's also a national sport over here. We have 3 competitions during those 4 months and in one we compete against all the others Young Shooters clubs from the canton (state) and then the best go to Bern for a finale with all the best Young Shooters.
We also have a huge festival during the weekend of the 27/28/29 of May where anyone can come and shoot and you can win prizes.
And anyone that made the 6 years in Young Shooters can become an assistant and if thought worthy by the director, can become shooting instructor like I did.
