>French Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve on Saturday called "all patriotic citizens who wish to do so" to become reservists to boost security after the latest terror attack.
France's "operational reservists" include French citizens with or without military experience as well as former soldiers.
French President Francois Hollande said Friday that reservists would be called upon to boost the ranks of police and gendarmes.
The operational reserve is currently made up of 12,000 volunteers, 9,000 of whom are within the paramilitary police and 3,000 in the regular police force, said Cazeneuve.

Hey /k/ I was going hunting this year and I wanted to take a sidearm with me, only problem is it would be a bit financially painful for me to get a proper "hunting sidearm" like a S&W 686 or a Ruger GP100.
As it stands I have a Polish P64 pistol that I was thinking about using, but I don't know if that would be acceptable. Biggest thing around my area is black bear, and the average black bear I'm likely to encounter is going to be comparable in weight to a big negro, which I'm fairly confident the 9x18 round will drop with proper shot placement.
