Neat, Not sure on how plentyful the Magkuno wood's are in PH but I am sure Kamagong blanks (IIRC) are uncommon or just somewhat of a hassle to find then supply it to someone who can make you grips.
but for already made ones you can probably find it at gun stores back home, I do not know how rare are these now, Apparently it goes for 14 USD (700PHP around 2007 time) on this guy in a forum I just viewed.

Minimum for me is 120rds for pretty anything, maximum is a full crate, in my case 1200rds of 7.62x39, but I'm sacrificing substantial amount of other shit like food water and armor, if I'm wearing armor and have 3l of water and some food, I generally carry 500rds.

It definitely does feel that way. I can only speak for myself, but I feel it is also a burden of sorts. It's hard to explain, but once you own guns, you're gonna carry that weight.
