But anon, that's true from a certain point of view.
For a recreational handgun that sees occasional use, a revolver has no mags, ammo issues etc and you can usually fire a huge variety of loads from one gun. Something has to break for it to start fucking up.

I was planning on going to my LGS tomorrow and ordering a Glock 20 because I want a 10mm for my collection. Two questions before I go.

Why would you get a Gen 3 instead of a Gen 4 in the first place, assuming that the prices of the two are the same
there's a couple P220 variants in 10mm out now.
cons are it's more expensive than glock and doesn't hold as many rounds per mag
pros are steel frame makes for a better balance and softer recoil,
trigger is available in SAO or DA/SA and imo much better than glock,
grip is much more comfortable
looks much more stylish
it's very accurate too
your choice really, just wanted to make sure you knew about it since they've been out for less than a year and still to my knowledge aren't listed on sig sauer's main site

I have a gen3 g20 sf and have a shot a gen4, I didn't notice much of a difference.
g20 is the best 10mm on the market, don't bother with anything else.
What are some /k/ approved games. What pops into my mind are red orchestra 2, insurgency, and company of heroes 2.

Yes. The gas is provided by the cartrige; the propellant.

So, I know there is a strong hate for .40....but I'm here to ask why exactly? I shot my cousin's glock 27 today and loved it. I was hitting my target consistently and didn't have the snappy recoil problem that everyone seems to bring up. I also like that the round is physically bigger compared to 9mm - not that it matters. I have a Glock 27, it's on the right, I never got the snappy thing either. Now when someone says it I just immediately think nogunz. Also where I live you can always get ammo for it.

Maybe you just haven't shot a lot of guns. I have a 27 myself with an extender similar to hte one on the gun on the left. With the 3rd finger on the grip, it's a pleasure to shoot but it's too slippery otherwise.
The snappy thing refers to the high pressure impulse. It's more of a "snap" in feeling as compared to something like a .45 which feels more like a slower push or torque. It's just different feeling. Compared to 9mm recoil of the .40 is just more in general, it's...
