Given the impending race war, what's the best defensive weapon on a budget, generally speaking?

More specifically, considering a semi-urban environment with ~35% population of vibrant youths, and a budget of $400, $500 if really stretching it?

>inb4 AR lower

Plenty of cheap ammo as well.

Best answer for that depends on where you live. What state are you in, OP? Can you/will you/are you not even required to get a concealed carry permit?

It'll probably cost you a whopping $15. And you still won't get your money's worth.

I'm wanting to buy a Nazi-marked Luger at a gun show tomorrow, matching serials and a 63 over the eagle for a military mark.

I don't know much about these pistols, can anyone here give me some info about what to look for and such?

How much would a Luger of the description I gave run for? I know it'll be over $1,000

2. I'm not carrying it.
3. Not /pol/, /fit/izen actually. I used to go on /k/ a lot, but not as much recently.

When will we as Americans collectively agree that the Abrams is a fucking pile of shit?

Seriously, fuck this thing. It is NOT a good tank. For that matter, America has NEVER had very good armor. Everything we had in WWII was a glass cannon (and sometimes just a glass box), the M48 and M60 were tall as fuck and generally useless, and the Starship was a fucking joke. The MBT-70 was on the right track until it was cancelled because we didn't want to use the metric system.

So when the 1970s comes around, what does the Pentagon decide to do? Should we go the way of the Russians, and start putting more R&D into things like ERA, designed at defeating or avoiding increasingly prevalent ATGM and airborne threats? Nope! Fuck it, let's just slap lots of armor on this piece of shit because tank engagements definitely, definitely really only involve tanks shooting at each other with their main cannon from a reasonable distance in open areas not confined by buildings.

>tl;dr
Fuck this thing. It's combat record in Iraq with the monkey models has shown that it is a fucking inherently flawed design (inb4 hurrrr monkey model, it's still a fucking Abrams and it still sucks shit).

We need to stop being so arrogant and just admit that our armor is shit, and then do the correct thing and adopt the Leopard 2A6.

How is this copypasta? Copypasta implies this exact post has been made numerous times, it hasn't, because I just drunkenly typed it out.

The reason it seems like copypasta is because EVERYONE that knows jack shit about military equipment knows it's a fucking joke.

Hello /k/

Going to get rid of my truck soon, as I won't need it anymore. Is a newer Ford Explorer an acceptable /k/ar? Some context:

>military/LE
>light offroading, easy trails to get to house. no mudding
>lots of pavement driving otherwise
>DD

Opinions appreciated. Also, vehicles of /k/ thread, I guess.

Does it need to be in .308? A mosin will do the job for half the price.

==666 Sig That Absorbs Souls==

I've been wanting a Sig P938 with blackwood grips for months, so I've been steadily saving my money, and I finally pulled the trigger two weeks ago. In my excitement for the purchase, I neglected to check the serial number.

I took it home and fired 50 rounds through it, shoots like a dream. I glanced down at the serial number and noticed it has 666 in it. My stomach suddenly dropped, I lost my excitement for the gun, and I'm too superstitious to continue owning it.

That's why I'm selling this Sig. I thought I'd give my friends at /k/ the first shot at buying it.

I bought it for $689.99 at Academy + one extended mag for $39.99 + $60.22 in tax for a total of $790.20.

It's practically brand new with only 50 rounds through it. I'm selling it for $667 dollars without the extra extended mag, but you're welcome to purchase the extended mag as well. You're basically getting a new gun for a discount and tax free.

If you're in the DFW area, and you want the gun, email me at [email protected].

He's a fucking legend. I love watching his shit.

Why are we training them when they view good Americans as the enemy?

Should the military be more careful about who they give combat training to?

Not everyone in this picture should be allowed to wear that beret or that tab.
