I love drawing but no matter how hard I try and learn I just can't get good. By good I mean able to draw decent looking realistic humans without tracing and objects with correct perspective.
My question for /i/ is how long did it take you to become a good artist?

I'm getting better, but some stuff still feels weird. Any ideas on how and what to improve?
Just her feet, they seem to be in a wierd position unless she is standing on something that can cause feet to go that way
I agree that maybe you should've made the feet just a little bit bigger, because combat boots like that can be hella bulky. Here, a reference image for your troubles.
Also, I think the jawline (specifically the part that is pointing to the outside of the hair,) is a bit "sharp" and "bulky" I think if you decreased the jaw size, it would have turned out somewhat better.
Keep practicing, though!!

I need help on this. Its so hard trying to make a female body, even in cartoon form. I got it as close as I could get. But how can I make it better?
Practice and never give up, also read the sticky. Ask people on tumblr for tips. You will get better in time
