Is Superior Spider-Man good or not? Everyone seems to have differing opinions about it.
>>83129327
I loved it, it was interesting seeing doc ock mix his ego with Peters morality
Slott has good ideas that he can't execute for shit. SpOck was no different.
>>83129327
It lasted far longer than it needed to.
What's /Co/'s opinion on the sandman ? Just torrented it, bretty gud so far
my mom is a big comic-head and recommended i read it when i was like 12.
she had forgotten about the bit with the guy in the diner and all of the worldwide psycho atrocities.
thats heavy shit for a kid and its kind of spooked me out of reading any more of it. it just felt too awful.
death is cute.
Of what I've read, it's very good.I want to fuck Death of the Endless.
It's very good. Seminal.
Does this show still hold up?
Batman: TAS still does IMO, but that's basically the gold standard of capeshit shows.
>>83128960
Did you just come here from Honest Trailers?
>>83128960
Ehh it kinda holds up, mostly if you're a kid thats never seen it. If you're an adult looking for some nostalgia you'll get some but thats about it. It just didn't age well
>>83128960
It has ups and downs.
It tries to stay true to the then-current Jim Lee-era X-Men roster, but it tries (and does a decent enough job) of redoing classic Claremont X-Men storylines as faithfully as they possibly can, though their adherence to "no real violence can happen" kinda hurts Wolverine as a character.
Amusingly I thought he was lame all throughout my childhood because I noticed he was the least useful (he was only allowed to kill robots and they fought only a few) and then I read the comics...

I went with my sister and a bunch of other friends. It was pretty mixed. They thought the beginning was really boring, but they loved the airport scene.
This is definitely the farthest the MCU has gone for relying on other films.
>>83128439
It's because retarded normies can't stand movies that aren't about action scenes and explosions every 5 seconds
Why do you think all those retards loved Star Wars 7?
>>83129210
My same friends all hated Star Wars 7. They said none of the characters were likeable and that reusing the plot of A New Hope was extremely stupid.
DC Rebirth Speculation
So after Johns makes a bold as fuck claim for tone and theme and all the crazy fanfare for the launch Rebirth's Wild Ride is startingDr Manhattan's Wild Ride? We'll work on it
I'm just hanging around in hopes of the comic getting leaked around midnight.
>>83128352
I will miss these threads
>>83128422
They're doing midnight launches at some comic shops so someone might scan it and do a ghetto storytime while we wait for digital
WHAT THE FUCK IS UNDER HIS HAT? All that's known is whatever it is, it fucking scared Ed and Eddy straight until he put it back on.
>>83128343
Man bun.
He's just a kid that's balding at a really early age, it was unsettling for Eddy and Ed, and Double D was really embarrassed so he put it back on
another hat
Why was Chris the butt of many fat jokes? Why did Elise's parents hate him so much? I feel sorry for Chris.
Chris ate a lot and never exercised. He wasn't fat, but I bet he had a beer-gut, which Elise probably affectionately teased him for and Dan, the manlet he is, took it as an excuse to knock him down a peg. No one sees Dan's gut because he's a manlet.
>>83128267
Because I am his true love!
His parents knew he loved me more than Elise.
>>83129278
Is this Dan?
Anatomy is kinda wonky tbqh

>>83128127
No, he going to be Wonder Man
Do you still miss them /co/?
>>83128105
They're not gone.
Definitely the Doctor Weird seasons, yeah...
>>83128105
I had stopped watching long before the final episode. Mostly because there was just other stuff id rather do or watch.. they will always have a special place in my heart.
Truly they were an aqua teen hunger force.
Who's the best comic reviewer on youtube?
I hate to be the negative internet neck beard idiot but they're all fucking awful. YouTubers just can't make it interesting - I can barely even find podcasts worth listening to. I take criticism and talk format media pretty seriously, I expect quality and charisma if I'm going to listen to someone talk - the closest I think we have is Fat Kev Smith, and that's not really setting the bar too high. Would love to be proven wrong.

>Gotham Season 2 ends with the aOwls being kind of teased
>Flash season 2 ends with COIE and Flashpoint
Why is Gotham so ashamed of being a comic book show?
Because the ratings continue to fall. They're doing really bad now.
>>83127369
Didn't Gotham have a fire & ice battle between Mister Freeze and Firefly? I'd say it embraces the comics.
>>83127369
Gotham just had fucking Hugo Strange attempt to blow apart his crazy ass mad science lab with a bomb hidden in the basement, Riddler attempting to kill Bruce and Lucius Fox via poison gas death trap, Clayface attempting to impersonate Gordon at the GCPD and a fight between Mr. Freeze and Firefly.
Fuck you, Gotham integrates its aspects from the comic books in a much more meaningful way than Flash, which just pulls shit out from a hat as it goes with zero foresight.
Holy shit, this was good
