I'd reccomend Harley Quinn: Vengeance Unlimited
Great TPB from her first solo
Her first solo is good in general
Check out her GCS(she isn't in this as much) 2nd solo and minis if you want to read more Harley
Quality takes a hit but yeah a lot of issues to go over and judge for yourself
Finally we have new 52 suicide squad
Decent focus on a more serious Harley not as good as vengeance unlimited but you get some nice moments here and there

The Killing Joke looks like hot garbage, which is a shame because it's such an iconic story and it's got Hamill and Conroy behind it. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity, why did they half-ass the art and animation so badly?

The problem wasn't the casting in 90% of cases, the actors are fine.
The material they were given though was crap. Snyder created an elseworlds type story when he should have created a "Main" universe.
What if we're talking non-Snyder though?
Casting an unknown is always so safe with Superman, who's always meant to be a blank slate, void of personality. What if they could cast a known, bankable actor?

I never read that one, but the movie adaptation was probably the worst of the animated features.

I think his videos are well edited and have a level of quality no other "cartoon reviewer" on youtube really has. And his videos aren'tusuallyhim going on some stupid fucking rant but just genuinely talking about interesting things related to cartoons.
What are some other films like this that use different animation or art styles for different segments? Animatrix is another example.

I miss this Marvel. Avengers, X-Men, Fantastic Four, and Street Level were the big players. Colourful costumes, campy names, and sometimes campy dialogue, but taken seriously in-universe. All-out comic nonsense but taken seriously, and serious storylines. Also, classic Marvel thread.

Something always gets me about this art, and I think it's that the tone of Marvel, for the most part, should be like an 80s action movie.

The writing and the art are both very good. However, nothing about the book is groundbreaking. This isn't a problem, as few comic books are, but it's worth noting. Additionally, I think sex may be the new violence when it comes to comic book edginess.
Its good.
At least 3 volumes behind, but what I have read I've enjoyed.
