BvS Ultimate Cut trailer:
>Superman saving African village from total annihilation by stopping missile
>Superman still blamed due to KGBeast, Clark witnesses the fallout leading him to question himself not knowing he was setup
>Clark Kent actually trying to learn about Batman, talks with Gotham citizens terrified by how brutal he has become
>Superman saving survivors after senate bombing, because of course he does.
So did WB just say...

It was reported already they edited the movie to showcase more Batman, so yeah..
>>83414895
It needs to be Darker and Grittier and Superman can't save anyone because that's not Dark and Gritty. Audiences don't want to see Superman save anyone, they want to learn about all the cool moments in the trailer, so then they can watch the movie and go "That was in the trailer!"

>Detective Comics Extended Universe
Why is Grant Morrison's New X-Men run so divisive?
I thought only Marvel editorial hated it because he spurned them and signed an exclusive with DC right after?
>>83414784
Every time I hear it discussed I read the usual praises for a Morrison run, and then the complaints about how it destroys everything claremont did and made mutants into something that makes the X-Men look like savages for being against the cure
>>83414753
Mostly because of his portrrayal of Magneto.
Marvel's been turning him into an antihero for ages, and Morrison made him an unrepentant mass-murderer. That didn't go over well with the fans.

The other is that shit doctor from Gotham.
Ghost Rider thread?
I feel that he's underrated, he's one of the coolest heros (yeah he's really 90s but a flaming biker skeleton is still cool) and he's arguably the strongest marvelbased hero (not counting reality manipulators)
What's some good stories with him?
>>83414015
>This is will never happen in the new MCU
https://youtu.be/9Qlrq9ETjzc
Used to love him before the diversity warriors at marvel turned him into a mexican
>>83414078
Robbie's a good kid, I just prefer good ol Johnny Blaze.
Wouldn't mind a Ghost Riders book though.
Still technically a pearl edition

Life With Archie Thread #8
And here we go..
why was DC in the 2000s so good?
Just reread sinestro corps war and the sense of scale in this book makes it both massive and contained within the lantern side of things
I think it's debatable to claim that as a whole. Identity Crisis marred a lot, it's just that there was enough good stuff that allows you to ignore the bad.
The impact of Johns in the driver's seat for so many major franchises during his prime is probably under-appreciated (at least until now since he's basically running the whole main line).
>>83413865
I started reading SCWars after the animated series and I was confused as fuck. There were a ton of unappealing trash characters like Kyle R and robot superman that just took me out of the story.
>>83416746
Johns' writing in general has the problem that if you're not already previously invested in the characters, you get little out of it.
Is having a third nipple enough of a mutation to join the X-Men?
>>83413732
as much as blue eyes and red hair is
>>83413768
Name ONE character on the X-Men with red hair and blue eyes.
>>83413732
>Don't talk to me or my son ever again
>that episode where Peggy and Luanne painfully killed a Schizophrenic man in a pig processing plant and walked away scott free
>that episode where Peggy kidnapped a Mexican girl across national borders and got away with it because of her moronic grasp on Spanish
>>83413660
that episode where peggy was the shittiest character
o wait
>>83413660
>that episode where Peggy gets murdered by Debbie's ghost after she lies to her that Debbie and Hank had sex.
Who is the greatest Indian superhero? Does such a man even exist? Is Ms. Marvel the closest?
Shut up Aziz.
Probably but all I can think of is Jinx from Teen Titans and she's a villain of course
>>83413640
Isn't this that motherfucker that shot up a school recently? The one that did even worse than fucking Elliot Rodger?
who came through the door, /co/?
bump because I'm going to post something
The gentry.
Evil Garfield
I went to NG for the first time in years today, and I'm surprised it even exists anymore. It's been slowly dying for years. It's kind of sad, I guess.
What are your fond childhood/teen memories of Newgrounds?besides the cartoon porn
All dose flash games.
So many genuinely great ones that were made out of community and passion, and now they live on only as shitty five dollar steam games
>>83413459
Monetization killed creativity.
The idea of people just making things for fun is already an ancient memory at this point.
Eskimo Bob... Tomorrow's Nobodies.. Arfenhouse... So many more original series. Flash games based on school shootings was another one. Then there was the clock crew.
