I have never read any old X-men comics. Only seen cartoons, movies, and read some X-force.
Is Mystique ever supposed to be such a prominent character like she is in the newer movies?
>>83478692
Not usually, though I would put her on the second tier below guys like Magneto and Apocalypse. She's had moments in the spotlight, even her own ongoing for a minute, but most of her prominence comes from the characters she's associated with like Nightcrawler and Rogue.
She's focused on hard in the movies because Fox lucked into getting Jennifer Lawrence before her popularity exploded, so they kept increasing her role more and more.
she is a terrorist/revolutionary, the mother of Nightcrawler, and the adoptive mother of Rogue.
Sometimes she becomes good, but she always betrays everybody when they think she has become an x-men.
she is quite prominent.but Hero Mystique is a movie thing.
>implying he's not right

What the fuck does Red Skull care about what happens in Germany?
>>83478616
He doesn't. He's playing on their fears in order to radicalize them and eventually use as he wishes.
>Sam hasn't made a television appearance in a decade now
Fuck, Sam was my favorite fictional character of all time

Was he American Samoa or Chinese with an american name

yes

That's what the guy who invented underpants said!
Remember when the world was ending, when Thanos was commiting multiversal genocide and all that asshole cared about was to kill Tony Stark?
No brainwashing, no cosmic cube manipulation. The one and only Steve Rogers asking for vengeance instead of trying to save people, and undermining the efforts of those who were fighting the incursions.
That was a lot worse than "Hail Hydra".
>No brainwashing
That was the reason why he was hunting them in the first place, they mindraped him.
But I agree that he was acting like the old grumpy fuck he had become.
>>83478553
What else is he gonna do? Throw his shield at an incursion?
>>83478378
He could have started by not pursuing the only people that could potentially solve them.
>This scene is best experienced to the ''wacky misunderstanding'' music of your choice.
I feel like we didn't finish talking about this so here's a new thread. Now with the proper filename!

Wrong board. Good taste though.
I'm one of those people who thought Superman was a stupid character, but recently a friend got me to read All Star Superman and I was blown away. Can I have some more Superman recommendations that are similar to All Star Superman?
>>83478184
All-Star Superman was great until the ending.
>another ASS pleb
The Johns and Busiek runs after Infinite Crisis are good. Start with Up, Up, and Away.
>You needn't be out there on the edge any more. You needn't be alone.
Joker was a pussy for saying no.
When you've been alone for as long as he has, it's difficult to enter into a relationship with someone else.

Did this already come out?
>>83478612
Next month.
Guys I don't understand something, if Marvel had multiple universes crash together which made Battle World and the new Civil War, how come we didn't get another Richard Rider?
>>83477936
When Disney bought the company they mandated that they kill him cause of the Dick Rider jokes.
>>83477936
Because he'd be more popular than the fuckboy they replaced him with
>>83477936
Because they didn't want to make a new Dick Rider.
I hope you like Sam, because he's going to be the only Nova for quite awhile.

>What is this thread?
Every Wins'day at Win-O'-Clock we gather here and post links to the latest scans and rips of comic books.
Most links we uploaded ourselves, others we are sharing from elsewhere.
Some comics we've even purchased ourselves (but most we didn't).
If you'd like to help out, just ask and we would be delighted to tell you how.
Otherwise, be patient, be polite, and understand the simple concept behind these words: Not posted means not available yet.
>Where can I find old Win-O'-Threads?
http://desustorage.org/co/search/text/Official%20Win-O/type/op/
(Note: This finds the OP for old threads. If you want to search for comics in the archive, clear all fields first!)
>Where can I find downloads for other comics?
Warez forums/blogs (like AvaxHome), DDL-indexing search engines (like Alluc), torrent trackers (like KickAss) and other P2P networks (like DC++).
If a link has been posted on 4chan, you can search for it in the Desu archive (add "http*" to searches to return only posts with links).
If all else fails, just >buy it.

>How can I find this thread every week?
If you are using the inline extension go to http://4chan.org/co/official or use the option under "Filters & Post Hiding".
If you have 4chanX go to Settings > Filter > Subject and add the following line:
/Official Win-O'-Thread/;highlight

>20th Century Fox is rebooting its 2003 historical fantasy film “The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen” with John Davis on board to produce through his Davis Entertainment banner.
>Jayson Rothwell has been hired to write “The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.” Ira Napoliello and Matt Reilly are overseeing the remake, based on Alan Moore and Kevin O’Neill’s graphic novel of the same name, centering on Victorian-era literary characters such as Captain Nemo, the Invisible Man, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde teaming to fight a common enemy.
>A TV series was in development in 2013 with “Green Lantern” writer Michael Green on board as showrunner and exec producer alongside Erwin Stoff. Fox made a put pilot commitment but the show was not ordered to series.
>The feature film starred Sean Connery as Allan Quatermain; it was the thesp’s final live-action movie before he retired. The studio had planned for “League” to become a franchise but the worldwide gross reached only $180 million.
>“The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen” comic book series launched in 1999.
No idea why everyone is hating on LoEG movie. It was fun.
Is this one going to be more like the comics, then?
>we need another cinematic universe
Soon 90% of movies will be part of some shared universe.
Still waiting on the next issue. Been a while since I've enjoyed a comic enough to buy all that was available.
Tomboy storytime?
Thanks anon
Step your game up, Marvel/DC
>Not even released yet
I've already git deadpool on blu-ray, waiting for x-men and batman v superman now.
Maybe skwd when it comes out too

Literally everyone with taste is going to get BvS: Ultimate Edition. I can confirm that it's going to be the greatest cape film of all time. So fucking hype to finally see BvS as it was meant to be seen. Everyone knows that the theatrical release was neutered by dumbass executives but the ultimate edition is going to be the full realisation of Based Snyder's true vision.
We're only one month away from TRUE capekino and you can already see all the mouseketeers running scared.
Who #SnyderHYPE here?!
>>83477097
the worst part about this kind of shitposting is that there's actually people out there who think BvS is literally the best film of all time, and unironically argue that it's better than all else
