Superman's greatest desire is to have a family on Krypton and live happily. The Black Mercy would have let him play out his whole life until he died. Bruce? That's a different story. He was content to cheer on his father beating the shooter to a pulp for all eternity. That was his greatest dream. It really speaks to how profoundly those short few seconds in his childhood affected him. Even the endings of the dreams are horrifically different. Bruce's dream is probably the worst change from the comic. I didn't find it heartbreaking, just made me roll my eyes at him. It's just so typical and boring.

I don't think I've seen him in anything. It's one of those things that would probably trigger me at first because "the beefhead from those stupid frat comedies?!" but then it would probably be less bad than I would think it would be.
Then again, I took the whole "looks kinda shitty, but I'll reserve judgement and who knows maybe it'll be good" approach with Lexenberg, but then I was like "nope it's exactly as shit as everybody was saying it would be."

I honestly enjoyed this movie more than BvS or X-men. It was dumb fun rather than attempting to do a really serious story in the dumbest way possible.
Dark Reign was the best and I miss it.

Siege and the Heroic Age were a mistake. Dark Reign easily had a couple more years of life left in it.

Surprisingly accurate, it isn't as blatant as that image makes out but it is pretty clear that some of that stuff was intentionally. The film is surprisingly good desu, literally the best they could have done with the shitty concept. that's not to say the film is great though, it really isn't.
