Guys, I have started reading back comics after a long period of time....the new stuff was....disappointing.
I used to read both marvel and dc. Cap and Punisher being my favorites
My question is : Is valiant comics a solid alternative? I like "relative normal " heroes. Similar to my 2 favorites, where they are defined by their characters rather than their powers

I'm picking up the rest of what I don't already have for the Flash up until the writer change.

Guys, what are some comics, movies, series and games about super powered humans participating in military conflicts?
I'm talking something in which they're just highly specialized soldiers, like The First Avenger and the Wolverine flashbacks, instead of conflict stoppers that are more of a political card than anything else like Superman or Dr. Manhattan.
To clear it out even further, I'm talking about something more similar to what we see in the RPG Godlike, I don't know if you guys are familiar with it.
