X-Books are not worth it right now. Marvel does have some pretty good stuff coming out tho. Nighthawk, Darth Vader, Gwenpool, Doctor Strange are all worth at least checking out a couple issues.

After one or two, it was quite clear that the books were focused on developing some personalities and the setting while the shorts were just some quick blurbs with an amusing twist at the end. Some tend to get the personalities completely wrong, like this one - Libby is quite serious and focused, if overeager and quick to jump on her own half-formed ideas. She's not obsessed...

I listened to an audio bootleg and all the new songs are good. Anya's new song is gorgeous. And there's this haunting song that uses a melody from In the Dark of the Night as a wink wink to the only song not to make it into the show.
