I haven't watch Adventure Time for a long time, but I've noticed in recent seasons that they have made Finn a lot more annoying and incompetent than I remember him.
Why did they change his personality like that?

Because the last couple seasons have focused on other more "organized" characters, Finn has a very happy-go-lucky personality, which is great for adventuring through vanilla ice cream land type deals, but others like PB, Marceline, even Lemongrab, have allot more on their plates in terms of history and issues, so in comparison Finn's flexibility and sense of fun seems immature or foolish at times.

I imagine there's loads of pre-movie episodes that I don't even remember existing. 60 episodes aired before the movie, and I can probably remember 10 off the top of my head.
Also the show had the typical fucked up schedule that Nick seems to give its cartoons, surprised it became as big a cash grab as it did.
The episode where they go on strike.But like all bad pre-movie episodes, the episode itself may have been bad but the humor was still fucking brilliant.
