Paramount is doing it with this and there Hasbro Miltary comics, Warners is doing it with there Godzilla Monster universe and the DC Extended Universe, Fox hired Millar to set up an X4 universe, Sony was trying to build an entire Spider-Man universe,Universal is doing there Universal Monsters reboot universe and Disney itself is developing Star Wars ibto a cinematic universe with there Star Wars Tales line.

Marvel didn't create the idea of a "shared universe". This is annoying because I saw this happening. Other movies will try to create a shared universe of some sort, and naturally /co/ will think they're just aping marvel.
To be fair, the Godzilla monsters universe and Transformers multiverse were already sprawling shared universes replete with side stories.
