Really depends on what sort of stories/interests my friend has as there is such a large variety of comics. I mean, I'm not going to recommend Bedlam to my sister, who reads Batman comics, and I don't recommend Batman comics to my one friend who only reads comics where cute females are the protagonists.

I actually really like Supergirl's pre-Flashpoint suit. It looks hotter than her New 52 suit, even though that one was designed for fanservice.
I think maybe because Supergirl had realistic proportions and it looks like something someone could actually wear?
