Why are there so few superheroes, or even supervillains, with drug addictions?
It's been done before with alcohol a few times: Iron Man, Flash Thompson, Carol Danvers, etc., but outside of John Constantine with pot and Moon Knight with meds that he really needs and Martian Manhunter with Chocos, it doesn't really exist in comics.

One last predictions thread before #150 is out this week, so any bets on who will betray Rick? Looking at the cover and seeing his eye covered in blood while his other eye remains clear leads me to think it will be Carl, he could either join The Whispers in a move to double cross Alpha and seize power to protect Lydia from any further attacks from both the communities or her own people. That would be too predictable.
Second bet is on Dwight, since drawing Lucile last issue I think he might possibly execute the ringleader of the Saviors who want to just storm Alexandria to assert his dominance over back over the group, everyone knows how whipped he is and how he no longer wants to lead them, a new leader showing up at the right this right time to dethrone Dwight is what he needs to do to show people he's still their top dog. Then again that would also be predictable, who knows really, maybe Dwight will try and make The Sanctuary independent from the rest so they wouldn't be drawn into The Whispers conflict, I don't remember any Saviors being involved in the beheadings but they could come in handy for Rick as the front force in his new military.
Eugine, he's been acting odd since Rosita died but I really don't see Eugine being the type who would be power hungry enough to launch a coup against Rick himself, while he is the man behind everything I get the impression he might be covering for someone else or found something that Rick and the others don't want to find.
My last choice is Rick, then again he's already betrayed his ideals like I think he has by speaking with Negan and asking how to deal with the situation about The Whispers. I really don't know what more could come from this unless it leads to a King Theoden and Wormtongue type situation where Negan is the Wormtongue, poisoning Rick with more thoughts and eventually getting the citizens to make things go back to the way Negan ran everything.
I really hope Carl Riddicks The Whisperers soon. He'd look iconic with a zombie mask. Stumped on the betrayal thing. Can't see key characters having any reason to fuck Rick over, especially not Eugene since he's no doubt estatic over the whole military thing.

I was going to make this thread a few days ago.
Lets be honest.
Season 2 is mediocre at best. The loss of Thawne hascrippledthe show.
Season 1 had a stronger overarching storyline, but season 2 is very good and the Earth-2 story arc sounds very intriguing and promising. Plus, the first nine were sacrificed in several places to build up to "Legends of Tomorrow", which is now out of the way.
Season 1: 9/10.
Season 2: 8/10 so far.

Start a new imprint where characters are either white males, shapely females, or token minorities. Hire competent non-meme writers and artists who can tell a story visually for the project. This new imprint only does crossover events when they make sense. Force every title to make a series bible and stick to it at all costs!

Make sure all the changes in canon made are consistent within the continuity. Encourage out of canon comcis for people who really, really want to remodel a character entirely, encourage artists and writes to put their non superhero works on the comapny (with creator rights deals) and help advertise them. Marvel has a bigger readerbase than Image and the other company, in theory this would create interest in the medium as a whole and therefore make the industry bigger.
Ideally people would start to respect marvel for the quality of it's content and not just for the characters, and awareness / interest in the medium as a whole, and therefore readerbase, would increase.
Alot of shit I tend to notice in some forms of media is how comics and cartoons like to put the military,technological and even human factions as the bad guys which I down right hate sometimes forcing us to go though boring gurellia organizations of mutants or how humans are so weak and technological inept they cant fight the forces or aliens and lastly the worst contender in this. Squad of soldiers who gets sent into a base always gets wiped out by some random ass virus or monster EVEN THOUGH they were highly trained soldiers they couldnt fight this one new combatant all of a sudden.
