Anyone read stuff of legends? What did you think of it? I never see it mentioned.
not so subtle shelf thread
So what's the difference between a shelf and a purchase thread?

Did Cream start it? shelf
Otherwise? purchase
same "self/buy general, but not really" though.
You and your gangthe protags of the last two cartoons you saware up against a Shaggy with the powerlevel of the gods.

Eh. I think I still fucked.
Found pic related to be a pretty boring show when I was a kid.
Now I'd probably consider it my all time favorite cartoon show to come of the UK. Very relaxing with enough sense of adventure that it doesn't come off that nothing doesn't happen, the voice cast does a good job of adding to the cuteness of the characters without making them sickeningly cute, and the art & animation is really great. Where cartoons aimed primarily at preschoolers are concerned, I'd be hard pressed to find a cartoon with better art.

This show is what kid me into adventure and mythology.
The cartoon and the books alike.
>>78855466
I always found Ottoline cute. It's a shame there isn't more lewd stuff of her and other characters
It's gonna be good. It's gonna do well. There's nothing you can do to stop it.

>It's goona be good.
Not sure on that.
>It's gonna do well.
Wow, bold call Nostradamus.
>There's nothing you can do to stop it.
Why would I want to?
I feel sick thinking about the number of people that did not give a fuck about Batman until now.

No Shit, it's Batman and Superman

SCRAPING AT THE DOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoR
Why would you say "I'm not real" as your last words? Are you seriously thinking up a cool death fantasy right now where you're on your deathbed or, IDK, you've just been stabbed or something and you're saying to your family or to the police "I'm not real"?
How old are you?
Literally 4chan: the comic book

You know you've hit rock bottom when you're the artist of Marvel's meme Deadpool covers.
>>78854945
How you figure that? I'd love to get paid to do this bullshit.
>>78854745
My only gripe is that the dialogue isn't:
>"Hey, how's Log-"
>"MY FATHER IS DEEEEAAAAAAAD!"
I mean, if you are gonna use memes, use them right.
Since yesterday brought in still about 180 people voting I'll post it again. I'll add from the start that the results are based on a thread which was over a month ago. I took the shows that got the most points and put them in this strawpoll since it's limited to 30. I'll put some additional information on that in post bellow, so here's the poll itself:
http://strawpoll.me/6455337
So on that poll. I don't have the link to it since I never planned to make a more extensive poll based on it like this. You don't have to treat this poll really seriously because of that if you don't want to. I have learned from my mistakes and have thought of some better way of making a poll like this and might apply it to another one, but I'd probably wait a year for that. Anyways, I know that thread had pic related as OP pic, so I don't know if it's possible to find that thread based on it.
Here's the data I collected from that thread. It's what I based the list on:
1st (14 points):
Avatar the Last Airbender
2nd (13 points):
Samurai Jack
3rd (10 points):
Ed, Edd and Eddy
4th (8 points):
Futurama
5th (7 points):
Adventure Time
6th (6 points):
Bojack Horseman, Gravity Falls, King of the Hill, Spongebob, Rick and Morty
7th (5 points):
Batman: TAS, Steven Universe
8th (4 points):
Aqua Teen Hunger Force, My little Pony, Simpsons, The Maxx
9th (3 points):
Clone High, Hey Arnold, Moral Orel, Over the Garden Wall, South Park, Sym-bionic Titan, Xiaolin Showdown, Venture Bros
10th (2 points):
Batman: Brave and the Bold, Beavis and Butthead, Batman Beyond, Billy and Mandy, Clerks TAS, Duckman, Filmore, Harvey Birdman, Home Movies, Invader Zim, Kids Next Door, Wakfu
11th (1 points):
Aeon Flux, American Dad, Angry Beavers, Ben 10, China, IL, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Cybersix, Daria, Darkwing Duck, Dan Vs., Dilbert, Downtown, Drawn Together, Gargoyles, Homestar Runner, Jimmy Neutron, Johnny Bravo, Johnny Quest, Kablam, Justice League Unlimited, Looney Tunes, Rotates, Sam and Max, Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated, Sealab 2021, Space Ghost to the Coast, Spectaculat Spider Man, Superjail, Superman: TAS, Superman (40s), Star vs. the Forces of Evil, Static Shock, Teen Titans, The Critic, The Legend of Korra, The Legend of Prince Valiant, Transformers Animated, Tron: Uprising, Out There, Xavier Renegade Angel, Young Justice
No Gumball?! You make a ghost disappoint. OP.
It's been a long time but, I watched this again and it only further drove home the point for me that I hate how so many people in the past few years have treated this movie as the (no pun intended) red headed stepchild of the Disney Renaissance ("Ariel gets everything she wants on a silver platter and does virtually nothing to fight for it", "Ariel is a naive female character who is fixated on a man. PROBLEMATIC", even Disney seems to make fun of her in a way with characters like Anna)
Well, fuck that. /co/ here I am to ramble off about my love for Disney's The Little Mermaid.
First off, let it be said this is probably my third favorite of the Disney Renaissance with The Lion King and Beauty & The Beast naturally being the ones I'd rank above it. And no, I do not hate Aladdin, I think Aladdin is great.
I love the purity of The Little Mermaid. This statement has multiple meanings to it. I like the purity of characters like Ariel and Flounder, yes but, I also love how it's (mostly?) devoid of pop culture shenanigans and the 'tude. It was pretty old fashioned even when it came out and I personally like that.
Of all the people who've voiced Disney princesses, Jodi Benson is my favorite.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cgsb87-X1Sc
I mean, just watch that.I know I'm a faggot but, that shit puts tears in my eyes
"Part Of Your World", "Poor Unfortunate Souls" and "Kiss The Girl" are some of the best songs we got out of the Disney renaissance.
In conclusion, I think there's plenty of room in the world for both the Ariel & Elsa types and TLM haters need to back the fuck. I'd enjoy reading what others on /co/ like or love about this movie. I've probably missed/overlooked some reasons of why this movie is so great!
>>78854302
Thank you op, I'd like to take this opportunity to point out that this is one of the few disney movies that gave us full frontal nudity.
>>78854389
Also the butt.
>>78854415
and this glorious shot.
>>78854302
>I love the purity of The Little Mermaid.
Yes, Op I do too.
>that dissonance between audiences and critics
So it's pretty much cancelled right?
Didn't most of the critics just review the pilot?
And wasn't the pilot cut some slack because the rest of the series could work out the kinks?
>>78853594
This is why you can't just aggregate TV reviews. People often review just the pilot, or in the case of streaming shows like Bojack or Daredevil, only the first few episodes, and it can fail to reflect the season.
It's the 4th highest CBS in viewership.
http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/2015/12/15/cbs-renewcancel-standings-week-12-can-2-broke-girls-survive/
Why is The Brave Little Toaster so criminally underrated?
>>78853364
No it's not. It gets as much love as it could possible get.
>>78853595
fuck off tripfag
>>78853364
It's a conspiracy maaaan
Can we please talk about Miller Batman /co/?
Dark Knight Returns has been one of my favourite comics for years. I avoided the followup because of all the negative response I've heard and the ugly artwork.
Well this week I decided to finally grab a copy and check it out since DK3 has been coming out. I unironically loved Strikes Again (even the artwork now) and wanted to know of anybody here has warmed to it in the last 15 years?
It's got strange art, it's very abstract at times and the characters seemingly contradict themselves. However it's like nothing else I've read and I find it fascinating. I can see why most have such a hate for it. Especially being a long awaited "sequel".
Also how is master race so far? Was thinking about picking up the first couple of issues. If I'm into this comic then does that mean the infamous All Star Batman is something I might want to check out now?
>>78852180
>Also how is master race so far?
It's SJW shit. Don't bother.
I like DKSA too, I can see why it wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea but I don't understand the frothing hatred for it
>>78852180
I really don't like Master Race so far. The art is what sort of kills it.
Strikes Again and Holy Terror's art is convoluted to point where it's obviously stylized and meant to convey that his ideas are crude and raw. However in DKIII it's just piss poor and the worst I've ever seen in years; unlike previous works it just reeks of laziness. It's not bad enough to be seen as stylized (a la Jock and Frank Miller). Can't believe whoever the artist for it is can hold a professional position as an artist.
All Star Batman and Robin isn't that great either; the only way it's acceptable is if you view it as Frank just pretending to be retarded. I mean if you like Frank just putting down every superhero bar Batman than go check it out.
Aside from DKIII and ASBR I do like Frank Miller Batman including Holy Terror which really isn't that bad.
