Weirdly they were forbidden from using robin at first, so she gets to show up before him. unfortunately that makes it really fucking awkward when robin shows up and immediately gets treated like.. robin..
It's good. You just have to take it as it is and refrain from Not Muh-ing.
His gadgets and vehicles were all set as fuck and the action was really well animated and choreographed. They way Batman moved is also something I remember being really good.

Tell me why anyone should just be okay that, not only did Rose want to be a mere human, but experience the very life cycle of a human from infancy til death. Because after all, this is just about keeping Earth from Homeworld right? Humans are just the locals that they have to be mindful of? It is a much more varied than the MoS soundtrack. Many great and different tracks like Must There Be A Superman or Lex or Batman's theme.
My favorite one is Day of the Dea.
I thought it was really cool, especially the weird synths in Must There Be A Superman, and the harpsichord in Red Capes Are Coming. Also the electric cello in Is She With You? Can't wait to hear it in context.

So considering everyone else in the cartoon has hands with fingers, what the fuck is up with the PPG's hands and feet? Do they really just end in nubs? How the fuck do they grip things? Are there little mini-suction cups at the end of their nubs that can't be seen with the current cartoon resolution? Are their nubs just naturally sticky?
And what the fuck is up with their eyes? They fucking occupy half their face while the other characters have reasonable cartoon proportions. These things must be fucking terrifying to look at.

Has anyone else noticed how weirdly "safe" this show is in terms of its morals? People keep feeling disgusted and shocked at all the gore and sex, but Mr. Pickles honestly isn't that bad if you look past all that.

Chuck Jones himself noted how you can't make a cartoon work unless you come up with a reason for the characters to behave they way they do. The weird Squidward torture porn episodes in Spongebob are worse than your average Mr Pickles episode because there's no context for the violence against Squidward most of the time. There's no justification so it just falls flat.
