We start with classic Batman – this is Gordon on a roof, this is Alfred in the cave, we’re seeing a Robin-esque figure, Duke Thomas, who is his new ward. He’s going through the clock, pressing 10:48. The new Batmobile is a take on the classic Batmobile. The whole theme of this book is using every modern storytelling technique I know to connect with classic Batman stories.

When they told me they were gonna look at him to take Batman when I left, for me, there was no other choice. I told Batman Editor Mark Doyle, “This is the guy.” I was joking earlier that part of you always wants someone who’s gonna do a horrible job to come after you on a book that you took a lot of pride in, but you care about the character too much for that. To me, it was about picking out the best writer, and Tom’s the best up-and-coming writer in comics. The best writer in comics right now, in my opinion.

His entire scheme made zero sense. He gave experimental and therefore suspicious weaponry to mercs and had them infiltrate the ranks of random African rebels in the hopes that Lois Lane would go over to cover the story with Secret CIA Agent Jimmy Olsen and that she would be captured so Superman would come and save her at the same time mercs shot rebels so the American government would blame Superman from gun-related deaths in a war zone in another country and ask him to come to a hearing to explain himself so Lex could have a former Wayne employee who irrationally hated Superman ride a jihadi wheelchair bomb into a hearing and kill a bunch of politicians so Superman would be blamed for even more deaths via conventional weaponry and then the government would be so anti-Superman that they'd freely give Lex access to a ruined space ship and an alien corpse so he could gain their power and turn it against Superman because....?

These all sound really great. The 3D is probably going to be what sends me over the edge and just completely break the bank. I've had the same busted 2007 Toshiba plasma TV and a tiny-ass Samsung smart TV (For vidya and shit) for years, And neither is gonna do this movie justice. Is a 3d TV worth it? Anyone anons got any brand or size recommendations?
