I'm somewhat hype, I love the idea of a cartoon that can get dark at times, and since this is isn't on television and is made by del Toro, maybe it will.
Not too much is known about it now, it seems like it's about a suburb that finds out that there's some underground world of trolls beneath their town, and apparently it was originally going to be a movie back in 2010.
