So I'm thinking about the worse parts of season 4 and it's mostly Felicity.
If we removed stuff like some of her shitty side stories and cringy dialogue like when she flirts with Ollie on a mission, would it improve the show?

Just have her die during the christmas break. And then Ollie chooses to use that as a springboard to leave the darkness behind and become lighter "in her honor."
So we come back from that drive-by shooting with a new, purposeful Ollie.
Killing Felicity achieves nothing. The writers have already shown their incompetence, and characters will become worse just to fill her void. At this point the show is beyond saving.
