He's done another video about The Omega Men. Was this not everyone's favourite superhero comic this year?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KQzXcFmf98I
>>84369810
No one read it, so no, it wasn't.
>>84369810
It was boring shit.
>>84369810
it was fantastic
He's 100% right.
No he isn't
>>84369356
Isn't the whole point of that guy that he's an over educated idiot more interested in shilling his own interests than actually helping anyone?
We are from the planet DUPLO and we are here to... destroy you!

KAPOWIE!
What wentwrong?
PANDERING TO SJW AND WOMEN!!111
I just picked up 2 issues of 4001AD and it seemed really cool. What's wrong with Valiant?
They seem alright to me. Their universe is pretty consistent and easy to follow. What's wrong?
> Sabertooth
> goes out of his way to fuck with Wolverine every chance he gets
> Black Manta
> goes out of his way to fuck with Aquaman every chance he gets
which one is the bigger asshole?
I feel like the correct answer here is Manta, even though I know basically nothing about Aquaman.
Like, the only thing I know is that Black Manta is the textbook definition of an arch-nemesis. I don't even read Aquaman and I know that fucker never stops with his bullshit.
That's some strong-as-fuck nemesis game right there.
>>84366310
Zoom is probably the king of fucking with their arch.
I mean, he's caused some existential fucking crises for the Flash.
Manta is obviously second, but he's only fucked with Aquaman in a linear manner
Who is physically stronger, Spiderman or Thor?
>>84365221
Thor
>>84365378
whats his upper limit though. like ive heard some bullshit about spidermans being like 10 tons or something, whats thors?
Am I the only person who absolutely hates that yellow circle behind the bat symbol?
>>84365065
I hate colorful Batman in general.
>>84365065
>>84365159
I hate Batman.
Hey, /co/ Im just a dude with an ideas, dreams and other pointless shit like that. I'm working on a superhero team book and was just wondering if there is anything I should avoid or strive for my narrative.
When it comes to consistency? Strive for the benis.
Just remember it's a visual medium and you need to take a lot of things into consideration when making up a page. Don't be afraid to dedicate panels with no text to help with the pacing, treat it more like a movie then a book. Think of a film and how you would lay it out a scene as a comic to understand how people use visuals to help tell the story.
Thanks anon I'll take that into consideration B)
Will you play it?
definitely

I just hope when they said they're improving the combat and class system they really mean it. if you look at Stick of Truth as an interactive South Park movie, it's fucking amazing. But as a video game, not so much. All equipment is available regardless of what class you pick, and really the only difference between the classes is what special attacks you get, which you can pretty much get through the whole game without using if you have powerful enough gear.
>>84362409
Yeah, I thought it was a little weird that I picked the mage class, but I could wear heavy armor and wield a katana.
>Decide to visit /co/ see how its doing
>no catdog general
>no catdog threads
this board is shit
i remember when one fine day with a woof and a purr
a baby was born and it caused a little stir
it was no blue bug
nor a three eyed frog
just a feline
canine
little catdog
cat dog
caat dog
alone in the world was a little catdog
>>84359977
Was Catdog ever good? Every time I seen an episode on TV I just changed the channel
>>84359977
>>84360056
The theme song was actually better than all the episodes combined.
Or at least more memorable.
>>84360056
It had a damned good muscle growth episode. That's about it.
Yes Bendis is writing a Doom book

Bendis? Writing Doom?
>INFAMOUS IRON MAN #1
>BRIAN MICHAEL BENDIS (W) • ALEX MALEEV (A/C)
>There is a new Iron Man in town and his name is VICTOR VON DOOM. The greatest villain of the Marvel Universe will try something new. Where Tony Stark failed, Doom will succeed. What is Doom's Master Plan?
So how long before he goes back to Camelot, because that seems to be the only Doom story that he's ever read.
Also, pic related before you get your hopes up, the last time he wrote Doom.
Surely at least some of you here can do as well if not better than people being paid to write professionally.
>A bunch of teenagers were chosen by the powers of light to combat and imprison a great evil for 1000 years with the power of friendship and love.
>They succeeded in doing this 50 years ago and have since settled down and made families, one of them even being a grandparent as of recently.
>However after this shit happening consistently every thousand years over and over again the evil actually planned for it this time and made a plot for his previous subordinates to release him by kidnapping the ex-heroes' children and using their latent powers of love and friendship to break his prison and empower him more than ever.
>The prior heroes, now all just over the hill and entering their golden years, must once again don their old equipment and use long faded skills to rescue their darling children and kill this fucking bad guy once and for all
tl;dr, The The expendables, but with the cast of a typical shonen story.
Or: a bunch of old people kick ass
How about, a bunch of old vaudeville acts, recreated by talking animals?
A bunch of whites die.
THE PRESIDENT...
IS A DUCK!!!
Why isn't diversity in comics and comics material done organically anymore? Nobody was pissed when it was done in the past be ause it wasn't to pander and heroes weren't getting arbitrarily replaced

Question of the fucking day, anon.
America lost its shit after 9/11
They went full patriotic with the war on Iraq but like that wasn't working, they tried becoming liberals with Obama but the damage was already done.
The moral is never go full retarded
Social Justice is "in" right now.
BLM and the push for a mirrion genders means it's more topical and by catering to SJW, you might get a bigger sales boost.
Back in the 60's Marvel introduced new black characters like Bill Foster and Robbie Robertson. It probably feels more organic because it's a sincere effort to get more black characters in comics, when compared to the new black female Iron Man.
Does anyone think Iron Man will be a black girl for the next five years? Does anyone think female Thor will stay female Thor forever?
Compare this to Black Panther, who began getting developed for his own solo series in Avengers.
CAGE! #1 (of 4)
GENNDY TARTAKOVSKY (W/A/C)
From the Award-Winning creator of Dexter’s Laboratory, Samurai Jack and Hotel Transylvania! On the mean streets of Harlem, shoes are big, shirts are large, bottoms are belled and crime is rampant! But in the heart of the city, the world’s hardest-working, smack-talking, chain-wearing super hero is on the street and on the case! And his rates are reasonable! He’s CAGE! and he’ll save your behind. Dig it!
>Devin Faraci: Why Luke Cage? What is it about this character that attracted you?
>Gennedy Tartakovsky: Well I grew up following most of the major titles like Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, Avengers, etc. But I had also a lot of love for the smaller titles like Master of Kung Fu, Black Panther, The Defenders, Inhumans, and of course Power-Man and Iron Fist. I always liked the martial art aspect of Iron Fist with the raw street energy of Cage. I saw it in my head like Bruce Lee and Shaft hanging out together. And Cage was fun, I liked the idea of a down and out hero scrapping for work, love, and just trying to survive.
>Devin Faraci: You started working on this a decade ago. Is this series you picking up where you left off or did you start from scratch?
>Gennedy Tartakovsky: Listen it was only 8 years ago, not a decade! I’m picking up right where I left off but definitely improving it and refining it.
>Devin Faraci: Who initiated this return to Cage!? Was it you or did Marvel reach out? How did it happen?
>Gennedy Tartakovsky: Well I was doing press for Hotel Transylvania 2 and coincidently I found my thumbnails around the same time and thought that they still held up. Then on the press tour I kept getting questions about it so I thought for fun I would say “I’m willing to finish it if Marvel is still interested.” Sure enough it spread through the internet and the editor from Marvel contacted me.
>Devin Faraci: This book is set in the 70s. Will we see 70s versions of other Marvel favorites?
>Gennedy Tartakovsky: I don’t want to give anything away but YES!!
>Devin Faraci: Luke Cage is having a new moment in the sun because of Netflix. Will this series be aimed towards new readers or is it full of references aimed at people with Power Man and Iron Fist in their long boxes?
>Gennedy Tartakovsky: Well growing with those comics in the 70’s and 80’s I have a very strong fondness of that version of Power Man so my version is very rooted in that time, but I think it is totally fun and feels new. It was about making something entertaining with a character that I really liked. So I think it can appeal to young and old readers.
>Devin Faraci: How does comic storytelling differ from animation? With animation we see all the moments, while with comics so much of what happens occurs between the panels. Is that the big difference?
>Gennedy Tartakovsky: Well the biggest difference is that I can’t rely on sound as much as I do in animation. That’s a big one because I use sound to help enhance the mood, action, comedy, pretty much everything. So that’s a big element missing. And of course there is no movement so I try to create it with kinetic panels and layouts as well as fun energetic drawings. It’s unlike other comics I think because my influences are strongly based from animation and cartooning like Kurtzman, Jack Davis, Chuck Jones, and Tex Avery. So it’s quite different from comics today… I think.
Source?
This is hype if true.
