I went there, completely ready and willing to hate. I didn't hate it. It was actually pretty great quite a bit of the time. Sure, everyone knows how the big conflict ends already, and they didn't pretend it was going to be a surprise, but it was still reasonably satisfying to see. It was clearly more serious and grim than the cartoon to a point, but they didn't completely forget the songs, but you have to wait for the end credits for...
