So tell me what you guys thought about the movie, did you guys like it, hate it? I personally love the movie and don't get the hate about it. The only real criticism I have is that it was a little jumpy with its story. But what about you, /co/?

I didn't like it for the same reasons that I didn't like Iron Man 2 or AoU.
They have stories, scenes and visuals just about as deep and engaging as a puddle of cold spunk, and they only exist as setup for other movies that don't have any reason to suck any less.
I say this as a fan and proponent of the superhero genre, knowing that it can be light years better than what's being churned out right now.

So what the fuck is going on here? Are they just going to stay in the present? Based on an early all new x-men this isnt a divergent timeline situation. If one of the young x-men dies the later x-man ceases to exist (god its fucking dumb how they do that) as shown with cyclops. So what, theyre somehow going to eventually be transported back to their own time (which is somehow impossible now for no known reason despite constant time travel in the marvel universe), get deaged a little, depowered in jean greys and angels cases, and have their minds wiped?
Or option 2 i guess is just 'whatever who cares fuck it why bother'.
Sideline them when the next generation of bodacious X-Kidz show up, like always.
They and Current Hank Pym are all Skrulls, and they have just been messing with everyone.

I'll start:I was really touched by the commonality that ended Bruce and Clark's conflict. I think people going OH WOW LOL WHAT A COINCIDENCE have a very superficial understanding of the characters. Bruce is a product of the tragedy that stole his family from him, the way to his heart is going to be his parents. It was a really powerful moment to see this shift in Bruce's perception of Clark from an alien god to a person--to a brother.Their mothers have the same name. They are both sons. They're not different, they're the same. You and I, our mothers are the same. It doesn't matter what separates us. We're all children of our mothers.We're the same.
I enjoyed that Bruce\Batman was into crossfit.
I liked that I didn't lose any money to it.

Helmut Zemo is a military officer who blames the Avengers for the death of his family in Sokovia. He masterminds a bombing in the United Nations' headquarters in Vienna in order to manipulate the Avengers into tearing themselves apart, and then steals files related to the Winter Soldier program, triggering Bucky's conditioning and causing him to rampage through a military facility to further escalate the conflict.
Captain America finds out he's been salvaging HYDRA intel on the creation of other super-assassins by the Winter Soldier Program and he and Bucky go to an abandoned HYDRA outpost in Russia where the supersoldiers are kept to prevent Zemo from awakening them. He instead kills them and broadcasts footage of Bucky murdering Howard and Maria Stark, leading to a destructive battle between Captain America and Iron Man. He plans to commit suicide once his plan is fulfilled, but Black Panther, who wants revenge for the death of his father in the bombing, intervenes and saves him so he'll face punishment for his crimes in Wakanda.
