Foreign markets hold a smaller viewership for the show.
Americans are well versed in it so they can get away with teasers and stuff.
Foreign markets have to drum up interest and stuff, assuming viewers are just new time comers and stuff.
Get the interest in there, you know?
Also cultural differences on plot and animation expectations.

Probably because of false advertising. The trailer is basically trying to trick you into watching an action show, when it's really just a filler slice of life show where the characters cry a lot.
