Why did Widow suddenly develop morals when Panther was about to fight/kill Steve and Bucky when she knew exactly what team she was on? I think the writers didn't have a reason for her to side with Stark but just made her agree with him because he needed more people on his team.

Widow likes Steve in a platonic friend way, TWS expanded on that shen he said he notices a good side in her that even she denies, she did have a reason because the least Nat wants after being used as a hirman in her spy days is to go illegal again, but her friendship with Cap's gets in the way of that.
