Can someone explain how greek yogurt got so popular all of a sudden? I don't remember ever seeing it in stores 8 or 9 years ago.
>dries out your mouth while eating it
>smells foul
>usually more expensive
Do people actually like this shit, or are they just buying it to fit in with the health food crowd.
>>7662360
more protein less sugar
it is indeed healthier than "normal" yogurts you will find in a market
honestly I find normal Yoplait to be extremely disgusting compared to just about any greek yogurt
greek yogurt is what I expect yogurt to taste like
just be wary that some companies add extra thickening agents to their greek yogurts for some reason I will never understand

>some companies add extra thickening agents to their greek yogurts for some reason I will never understand
Cheaper than making it properly.
>>7662360
Although it is great tasting it has become a trend mainly followed by women trying to prove they are healthy.
should i get a microwave ?
>>7661988
Probably.
>>7661988
>buying korean shit
Mine had an accident.
Didn't bother replacing it.
We eat better without it, primarily in the use of leftovers.
With the microwave you just nuked whatever you had leftover, but when you have to take the time to heat something up on the stove or in the oven, you tend to get a bit more creative with it.
Been microwave free for getting close to two years, don't miss it.
Just a heads up for anyone who buys veggie burgers, they just announced that testing found rat and human DNA mixed into the burger.

top fucking kek
>>7661924
never trust a DNA test
So instead of just paying cents for beans or starch, msg you take the effort to go looking for human carcasses and slaughter rats for the hell of it
Am I the only one who prefers sausage to Reddit-strips?
Patty masterrace here.
>Reddit-strips
just kys
>>7661879
Of course you're not. I've had bacon like 2-3 times this year, and they were all on burgers.
Sausage gravy and biscuits with shredded hashbrowns is my perfect breakfast followed by a sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit.
>>7661879
What kind of sausage are those?
What do you think of this sandwich, /ck/?
nice. did you make it?
>>7661876
I've had better.
What kind of cheese is that? Pepper Jack?
Do you have any favorite mix packets? Share them below.
You buy your spices individually and mix them yourself. We get it. But that's not this thread.
I'll get it started with Hidden Valley Ranch. The gold standard for what a spice packet can offer, IMO.
>>7661775
I only use this, and Lipton Onion Soup mix.
>>7661785
Nice choice.
I picked up one of these indoor grills, what are the chances of my house burning down?
>>7661564
>what are the chances of my house burning down?
Zero, unless you're some kind of klutz. You'd know better than we would.
>>7661564
Nope
>>7661564
it's a fucking electric element. worse than useless. at least get a portable propane grill if you're too afraid to use coal indoors.

Can we all agree that civet coffee is the only truly patrician way to enjoy your morning brew? Quite frankly if your coffee beans haven't been pooped out by a nocturnal mammal you might as well be putting milk and sugar in it.
If my food hasn't been through the digestive system of a civet, I find a civet ASAP.
>>7661250
Civets are cute tbqh
would drink
No way. I've seen the terrible conditions they keep those poor bastards in.
If you had to cook a three course gourmet standard meal, what would you make /ck/?

Parsnips are the best root vegetable.
I'd like to try them but they're pretty pricey here. 4 times the price of carrots for some reason.
>>7660641
Good choice, but I'd go for daikon personally.
>>7660641
They're good, I'll grant, but I prefer radishes.
