Hey /b/, somnophiliac here. I come to you for advice...and of course, ask me anything.
I'm a married man, and my wife and I have a strange relationship. She has a lot of difficulty being intimate and close...has a lot of neuroses about it. She also has a very low sex drive. Things were bad, and then one night she took one of my Ambien. Things really changed that night. I found myself really drawn to her sleeping body, and loved the fact that I could put my arm around her, caress her, touch her, etc. without her pushing me away or becoming upset. I talked to her about it the next day, and she said, "Honestly, I'm fine with you doing literally anything to me in my sleep, so long as I don't wake up with pain or anything gross on me."
Naturally, I took advantage of that. Started out slow, then worked my way up to full-on fucking. She's a super heavy sleeper with Ambien...at least she used to be.
Here's where the problems have started: over the last 6 months or so, she has built up somewhat of a tolerance to Ambien. She's a lighter sleeper, and is more likely to wake up when I take her underwear off or start fingering her. While she's OK with continueing about 50% of the time, that still leaves a good portion of time where she's saying no and I'm ending up with blue balls.
Usually, adding an extra ambien to the mix works. But sadly, because she takes it every night, that's not an option anymore.
What can I do, /b/? She's open to taking other stuff, but doesn't want to drink because alcohol makes her nauseated. Our sex life is actually fucking in existence for the first time since we got married. I'm not ready to just give up, or have it dwindle down to what it used to be (once a month). I need help.

We did a year of marriage counseling. Ultimately, they told us that our marriage wouldn't work unless my wife could resolve some of her issues....and she's shown no signs of doing that. But we have a child together, and I'm not prepared to relinquish seeing him every day. So I put up with our issues.
