Some. I've dropped shows a few times because the art was really bad, but normally if the art in a show is just so-so that's okay.
Good visual style is always a huge plus for me watching something, though that doesn't necessarily have to be jacking off over sakuga and filters the entire episode.

Do you generally save your downloaded episodes after you've watched them, or mostly just delete it? Is there any particular system on how you do that? For example I've got a pretty simple system that has influenced how I rate stuff:
>5 stars: Permanent archive of the entire season/series because I want to have it on hand at all times for re-watching several times in the future.
>4 stars: Temporary archive of all the current episodes in an ongoing season so I can easily refer to it and/or make screencaps when posting in threads about it.
>3 stars: Keep the previous episode on hand so I can make sure that I don't forget anything between episodes, and delete it after I've watched the current week's episode.
>2 stars: Delete upon watching, don't need it anymore and never will. Separate folder for all miscellaneous screencaps from 2-3 star series.
>1 star: Notepad files for each season/year of airing, with series name and most recent episode completed for things I've dropped midseason so I know where I left off from if I decide to pick it up again ever.
Space isn't much of a concern for me, only whether I really want to keep it on hand anymore.
I ask myself "is this worth saving? did I enjoy it to that extent?"
I haven't run out of storage so I don't need to worry about that
I save every series I find enjoyable, and that I believe is worthy of putting time into watching, so when my casual friends ask me for recommendations, I can give them a flash drive and be done with it. This helps for older or esoteric shows I can't show my casuals on Crunchyroll or Daisuke.
How'd you decide on that star system, OP? Have you ever had to re-download an episode because you realized too late that you wanted to watch or refer to it?

Just finished the manga and everything animated. I can see why it's so popular and highly regarded.
I despise overpowered protagonists that only exist to be worshiped, but every story had plenty of focus on the drama leading to what would require an assassin, as well as the work Mr. Togo put into preparing for assassinations that it never really bothered me. Plus it came off more as a revelation of how he did it rather than straight up fellating, like the kind of explanation you might find in a Sherlock Holmes or Arsene Lupin story.
Other times it simply let him manifest as a generic manly action hero. No preaching mid-battle about some poorly formed sense of morality in an attempt to sound deep. His job is shooting people and he is good at it. Doesn't even use some special snowflake 'forged in Mt Fuji and folded one thousand times' sniper rifle, usually just a humble M16 and a S&W Model 36.
Some of the later anime episodes were odd, like the one where he fights the mecha in the Predator parody. Not so much the giant robot part, but him verbally squaring off with the American general caught me off guard as it seemed so uncharacteristic of someone that was portrayed as apolitical, willing to be a hired gun for the CIA or the communists in alternating chapters. And also uncharacteristic of someone who doesn't talk much in general.
I did also enjoy the brief flashes of implied vulnerability when confronted with one of his illegitimate children, even if it didn't amount to much or anything in the long run.
