Unfortunately the company (Scythe) originally selling them in the west had a falling out with the manufacturer (Nidec) so they quickly sold out not to be seen a again for a long ass time, some American importers have been selling them since at a high mark-up until recently the anon that wrote the original TaoBao guide posted about finding them there and buying them.
A bunch of anons (myself included) put in a request with Gearbest for them to be sold there, if enough anons did the same those chances would increase even further.
