Got a Chuwi hi8 pro myself, 3:2 is definately better. Wide aspect ratios are nice on monitors but on tablets it's more prefered to get a more square screen.

Still isn't bad though, Android functions great with a vertical resolution, it's mostly Windows which can profit of the aspect ratio.

>over the next few days, volume up button becomes difficult to press.

Took literally 5 mins.

Seems this phone is easily user serviceable.

Pic related is the old button module. Can be purchased below:

In a pinch, a lamp light (the bendy adjustable ones) with a white LED bulb (Should be indicated on the box as like "sky blue" or something like that) and a piece of printer paper taped in front of the bulb works wonders. If the printer paper obscures too much light, notebook paper works too. Not sure how much of that you can get on chinksites.

If the phone is more exotic or a noname prepaid chink phone from Target, I tell them that the wait time might be much longer than usual since the parts have to ship from overseas and that it may cost more than a typical repair due to rarity. Also I was trying to avoid eBay since I've been burned by them and Amazon far too many times, if you know any good sellers, I'm willing to take a look.

My point is that I don't believe it sounds similar enough to warrant being that common of a fuckup.

It's also common enough for everyone to be aware of it and not do it anymore.
>>
>>54786268
Many are probably sufficient for what you need, but "best cheap" doesn't make sense.

Just try one around $30-40 if you have no special needs and are fine with running Android.
>>
>>54786297
People still say Doggy dog and "defiantly" instead of definitely.
Its never gonna stop happening.

In daily conversation you are more likely to say would've, than fully pronounce would have. So when people type it they just think "would've" and type would of.

Xiaomi offer good specs for the price but the phones themselves are extremely fragile.
Pic related my Redmi 3 that I damaged the LCD of after a tiny drop that wouldn't have hurt my old phone (the glass was fine, only the LCD died).
It now has a big rubber back and a glass screen protector.

to all zsun OpenWrt users:
follow this guide if you have trouble resetting your zsun or if you want to reset it more easily

1. Open the web interface. Enable the SD card automount feature and mount it on /mnt/sda1 (this should be the default). Enable enable SSH.

2. Log on using SSH. Create a file called restore inside /etc/init.d/ and dump the following contents there:

#!/bin/sh /etc/rc.common
# Copyright (C) 2009-2012 OpenWrt.org

START=50

start() {
if [ -f "/mnt/sda1/restore" ]
then
/sbin/firstboot
rm /mnt/sda1/restore
/sbin/reboot
echo "Rebooting to apply changes"
fi
}

stop() {
echo "Stop action not used."
}

reload() {
echo "Reload action not used."
}

shutdown() {
echo "Shutdown action not used."
}

3. Save the file and change the permissions to 755 ( chmod 0755 /etc/init.d/restore )

4. Enable the script on boot. To do so execute the following command: /etc/init.d/restore enable

Next time you need to restore the default settings, just create a file named "restore" on the root of the micro sd card.

I got a chink laptop power bank off Aliexpress, though later I found out that I can get it from taobao for cheaper.

It's a 30000mah power bank, has a laptop charging port that can output 19V/16V/12V and two USB ports, 2.1A and 1A output each.
It can be charged by any 19V power adapter with a 5.5mm*2.5mm jack, or by micro USB, though charging by USB will take a long time.

After some testing, I found some quirks about the power bank:
1) can't charge a laptop when the power bank is being charged.
2) USB portS output drops to 0.6A when charging A laptop.

Otherwise it seems to be doing what it's supposed to. I drained my Zenbook UX303UB to 0% battery and charged it to full with the power bank in about 2 hours, with >50% of the power bank remaining, so I can probably do full charges for my laptop.

Received two days ago:

They're thin as fuck.

Compared to the iPhone 6s, RN3P has less bezel, less weight, bigger screen, SD slot, 30% bigger battery, and overall is thinner and smaller. There's more inside the xiaomi while there's less protecting it.

I broke one phone by dropping and haven't dropped since in 5 years, so I only use a $1 0.2mm TPU case on my RN3P to protect from scratches and a $2 screen protector.
>>
>>54788217
They didn't say what else it does besides have the display. The i5 has a display and already shows you calls and texts on an amoled display, and it does more than the mi band.

If it's better I'll just order the miband 2 and give the i5 away. Not much to worry about with $15 gadgets.

Hi there!

You seem to have made a bit of a mistake in your post. Luckily, the users of 4chan are always willing to help you clear this problem right up! You appear to have used a tripcode when posting, but your identity has nothing at all to do with the conversation! Whoops! You should always remember to stop using your tripcode when the thread it was used for is gone, unless another one is started! Posting with a tripcode when it isn't necessary is poor form. You should always try to post anonymously, unless your identity is absolutely vital to the post that you're making!

Now, there's no need to thank me - I'm just doing my bait to help you get used to the anonymous image-board culture!

I'm not sure which anon you are referring to, but I bought a pair and mentioned them here a few times. I bought them from here.
http://www.aliexpress.com/item/1/32570409991.html

At the time that I bought them, not too many people were interested in fake sunglasses here, so I did a review in a thread on /fa/, which is archived here:
https://warosu.org/fa/thread/S11032233#p11045959.

I have another pair (amber w/ green lenses) on the way that should be in within the next two weeks that I'll do a review on here.

I also noticed that some of the other listings have some details off, so if you're a bit autistic about details like I am, I suggest opening the official website and comparing the pictures listed there to the ones on aliexpress. Some of them seem to be perfect clones, others are near perfect, and then others are look really fake if you look at a pair of legit ones.

The ones that I bought are near perfect, but have the wrong color font on the inside.

Hate Mate Reviews anon here, I decided to take my videos down as I'm not satisfied with the quality.

As an update my chink Warwolf semi-mechanical keyboard is held together by super glue and started unsticking piece by piece on the first day of use. I gave it a positive video review but wouldn't now, I feel that I've been chinked hard and should have saved for a Motospeed Inflictor. Like I have to keep regluing parts back on, it's disgusting.

The other video I forgot to turn audacity on so the audio recording is atrocious. I'll maybe redo it.

More chink reviews to come, I just wanted to post for the one or two guys that care.

Use a raspberry pie 3 with a heatsink for overclocking, it works great and has the best support (retropie etc). I use OSMC distro of kodi for the ease of updates and install process, very good experience.

They're all pretty much in the same tier, just get the cheapest one on gaybeast or ali. I recommend the NEXBOX MXQ PRO.
