Now i can lurk and play Euro Truck Simulator 2 from bed. (I recommend a keyboard layout with your motherlanguage. Get a solder pump too. Wicks are sorta a pain and don't work all that well for most stuff. The solder sucking pumps are the best and will really empty a pin of solder after a few goes.
Wicks work okay for very small amounts of solder and SMD stuff to clean up a tack and drag.
Maybe I don't know how to use wicks effectively but the pumps have always worked much better for desoldering boards. I highly suggest you get both and if you can only get 1 get the pump.

Anon with Redmi Note 3 Pro here, this is a major PSA to all and should be included in the next OP please to spread the word.
I bought the device and received it with MIUI 7....0.99 or something, it had alot of chinky bloatware (Clean Master then Apus launcher and lots of useless memory hogging and ad pop-up shit) and I had been using the device with 4G just fine during and a little while after the setup, I decided I couldn't stand the constant ad pop-ups and other Chinese apps and Chinese letterings everywhere so I installed the global stock ROM, now after installing the global stock ROM, I no longer have 4G LTE, just 3G, no matter what I try (I've tried Xiaomi.eu MIUI / Chinese MIUI / Chinese Dev MIUI and etc/ So it seems to be a baseband issue, however some pajeets over at XDA have said if you throw your sim into the second slot it magically works, issue with this is that my sim is Micro sized not Nano and I want to retain my MicroSDCard in place so I can watch my vietnamese basket weaving videos, and there are hacks to put both into the second slot but id rather not, anyways point is, if you can, wait for an official unlock code from XIAOIMI (since performing an unofficial unlock requires you to flash a firmware - which would make you loose the working baseband) and then unlock your device, install twrp and backup your baseband however possible then install the Global ROM and restore your baseband, sadly I was unaware of this issue and was unable to do this.
TLDR; You loose 4G if you switch from the resellers ROM to Global Stable, and the only way to retain it is to back it up via twrp via the official unlock and then restoring it on top of a freshly flashed Global Stable ROM.

I'm not 100% sure but I think twrp should have an option to back it up, if not there must be a way via fast boot/adb but your going to need the original .99 version that your device came with and you would have needed to unlock via the official method (because the unofficial unlock requires hijacking a MIUI firmware with the OEM unlock verification being turned off or whatever to be flashed onto your device which would remove the old .99 baseband that you want to backup) and the entire official bootloader unlock is stupid because even if you get the code, some have reported it dosnt work on most firmware, only on the China Dev firmware, so flashing that then to unofficially unlock would wipe the 4G enabled baseband, as you can see this is a major fuckup by Xiaomi (for using this retarded unlock system) & for not providing proper basebands that support all religions in the Global Stable firmware.

Most RN3P's on arrival have the .99 ROM and with this you have fully working 4G LTE wherever it's meant to work, but you may want to flash the Global Stable firmware to remove the Chinese adware and the general Chinese writtings all around the OS, however, if you do flash the Global Stable firmware, you may not be able to use 4G LTE because it might not be supported by this baseband, then again you could be in a region where 4G LTE from the baseband of the global stable firmware would work 100%, I/Others currently don't know where the global stable / other online available firmware's basebands currently work with 4G.

That's pretty much your only options, and the worst part is the chink bloatware can't be removed without root ;-; (it can't even be disabled like some system apps - well some can, like Apus launcher I think), but it's either all of that crapware or 4G i guess, or you can try using a nano-sim which some anons on the china-dev (and a few on global stable) firmware report to work with 4G.
It's a true fuckup by Xiaomi/Vendors but they might be able to fix it with MIUI-8 which is speculated to release June 28th (or late June) and the Beta's are expected to start beginning of June (no rumored date yet)

Anon who got a Redmeme 3 Pro (no Note) last week. I flashed the chinese official beta rom instead of the stable, uninstalled all the chink bloatware and installed google play and all my usual stuff.
I also disabled all the aggressive battery saving / task killing profiles and had it on 4G, wifi on, GPS on and BT on with a Pebble Time watch running on it. As you can see, I could squeeze 2 whole days of battery out of it with an 8% left at the end of the second day. First day was more intensive with games and music (5 hours SOT), and the second one I made a ligher usage (3 hours SOT)
Red circles are the sleeping time and the yellow one should be a bug when the battery graph reaches "yellow" status, but the battery was draining at a normal rate.

Yeah, it's not completely silent like the Xiaomeme one, but on the plus side it is noticeably more powerful so the noise isn't particularly obtrusive when it's at a sufficient distance to blast your face with loads of warm sticky air. To whoever asked how the software works, it looks a bit like this. You type a message into a box and can prick about with the font/size/etc, then it comes up in that circular grid thing and you can add or remove pixels to draw things like the crude chinaman on the shoo shoo one someone reposted earlier. You can have up to eight messages and there's space to fit 15 characters or so per message. You can select from about half-a-dozen transitions to start and end each message, but as far as I can see there's no way to speed up or slow down the length of time each message is displayed.

Most likely fake. Check the price for the real deal on Amazon. Anything way below that price is a potential scam. Actual 128GB sticks retail for something like $30-$40. For $7 you'll get 16GB, maybe 32GB at best.
Also those cheap ones usually have a hacked controller to report the advertised capactity to the OS and trick people into thinking they got the real deal so you'll have to figure out its actual capacity and manually rewrite the partition table so it doesn't malfunction and start overwriting other files the moment it goes above the size it reports.
