Is my soundcard fucked? Sound cuts off for a millisecond every few seconds and I have no idea what´s causing it.
Win10 + realtek
So far I have tried different drivers, frequencies, wireless and wired headsets. Only thing I´m unable to try for now is taking sound through HDMI.
I´m not sure if my eyes are just shit but sometimes it looks like the whole system lags as described, so maybe it´s not just a sound problem?
I´ve been reading about something called micro-stuttering which seems to be pretty much what I have. Can´t really find any info on fixes though.
Would a fucked up HDD/SDD behave like this? This is about a month old build and it worked fine in the beginning. Haven´t really installed anything but vidya to it.

Can anyone suggest a decent anime with gay characters involved? You know, not yaoi, a legit anime that just happens to have one or two gay characters, and the whole plot doesn't revolve around the fact that they're gay.

Sakamichi no Apollon has possible gay subtext.
Then there's a bunch like Gurren Lagann and Fullmetal Alchemist that just have gay characters as silly gag caricatures.
Shinsekai no yori has a couple of gay scenes and is a great anime overall

First time renter here, wanting to ask 2 legal/rules questions regarding renting a unit.
The company has a rule (And I should mention, it's the rental company, not the owner) wherein that if you have a guest stay, you need to request permission ahead of time, and if they do, you are required to pay $20, or forfeit an amount totalling a weeks rent ($220)
This rule applies to your significant other, and in addition was not disclosed on their website, and only announced in paperwork as I signed the lease (And had already paid down a security deposit and 2 weeks advance rent)
I want to know, by Australian and Queensland law, if this is legal - if I have my girlfriend over, and they attempt to fine/charge me or claim a breach of lease, do they have any legal grounds to stand on?
Specifically relating to this rule, I did not formally sign an agreement merely initially a page.
Second question is, would a small tank (500ish cm tall, 300cm octagonal tank) count as a "pet"? I have been getting conflicting information to whether or not fish classify as pets, or decorations, and may have to wait 2-3 weeks to hear back from the landlord via the real estate.
Any advice on these matters, specifically the girlfriend rule would be greatly appreciated, as I want to have my ass legally covered/protected against this fuckery - last time I checked I was renting a private unit, not living in a nunnery

Yesterday I started playing Portal 2 and for some reason, it lags a lot. I mean, video lag, it just randomly stops. And I tried to play with the lowest settings, but still. Which would be odd anyway, since Portal 1 or Left 4 Dead I can play on maximum quality.

Hello anons, I got some money to upgrade my pc to almost a level of decency. Warning, long post.
I asked 3 different people who are leagues above my knowledge to get the right components for my new config, so I bought, with a 300 euros budget:

>Ram: 8 Gb 1866 mhz Kingston HyperX
>Mobo: F2A78M-DS2 by Gigabyte.
The Power Supply, the Case and the HDD were alright, so I didn't change them.

Also, the Mobo seems to lack a beeper slot, I don't know if it is integrated or not, but I didn't hear any sound on the start-up.
Use the onboard GPU to get in and update those BIOS.

I was curious about Touhou and how everyone loves it so much, so I downloaded and played a few games and thought they were pretty fun. However, I really wasn't engaged by the world of Gensokyo or the characters - but it seems like everyone follows Touhou for the characters and such. Maybe I'm missing a form of media like those fan-made music videos on Youtube etc?
Basically, how did you guys legit get into Touhou?

I got into touhou by playing the 7th which is truely the first. It was fun dodging all the bullets and i liked the cute characters, it was pretty easy for me. If it doesnt appeal to you then play a later game like 15

The raw character desings are pretty cool, ZUN draws like shit(he's getting better) but the art made of them add so much detail that you get simply possessed by them.
Setting and story is what I like the most but for us gaijins is kind of hard to understand if you aren't very /jp/ or /a/ at least, it talks about how tradittions became forgotten because of modern society and gensokyo is a middle realm created to hold all of that wich has no place to en up to, there you can find gates to worlds that humanity doesn't believe they exist anymore(Makai, Ghost world, even Heaven because of the increment atheists), find youkais/monsters, ghosts, magical creatures, and even gods that we have forgotten, sometimes even that little thing that you lost under the wardrobe and never found again end up in there. In a sense is kind of made so you think that it could be real at some point.
Music is another strong point ZUN's arrangments have a lot of heart and personal touch in them, obviously this en up leading to a shitload of songs and videos who made alternative versions of them, and most are fucking good.
Also the characters have very remarked personalities, you get to know them very well if you follow all the source materials, and ZUN is a cool guy, if the fanbase is too eager to give a feature to some girl, he ends up making it cannon.

I started with 7.5, a fighting game, I really liked that peculiar fight, win, NOW DODGE system, then I wanted some info on it, discovered Bad apple and Cirno's perfect math class and by that point it was too late.
That's how I see 2hu, I don't know maybe it simply doesn't suit yourt taste but definitely everyone should give it a chance.
