i'm trying to watch files from a flash drive on dishnnetwork dvr. it's supposed to formatted to fat32. i allowed dish to reformat but when i plug the flash drive into my notebook it says the flashdrive needs to be reformatted - so i reformatted to fat32. when i plug the flashdrive into the dvr it says it needs to be formatted. any ideas?

it won't really work like that, it has a usb option to expand the storage of the device, but it uses an encrypted proprietary format to prevent piracy. there might be some way to hack around that but you can probably find a $20 dvd player that'll just do it.

/a/ knows a lot of anime that is obscure even for anime groups, but it isnt considered obscure on /a/ due to the nature of the board. For example, no one i know has heard of or seen LotGH but all of /a/ knows it and has seen it (mostly)
obscure by /a/s standards gets into arthouse and pretentious animes that you may have a lot fo difficulty even finding.
Personally, i like the banner of the stars/crest of the stars series.
People rarely talk about it on /a/, but its still not obscure.

So i bought an samsung s4 from ebay, the repair shop first said it was fake, when i took it again later they said that it is an american version and they dont have the parts to repair it.
They told me that i should change the motherboard on it or a find a shop that repairs american versions.
TLDR; bought an AT&T samsung s4, stopped working (doesn't detect the SIM at all), what kind of motherboard is needed for an AT&T s4.
Thing i have tried:
• Stucking a piece of foam on the sim connector (that seems to fix the problem for some people)
• Trying a different SIM
• Restoring to factory settings

did you put the foam shim on the connecting ribbon? and how comfortable are you removing, cleaning and reseating that connection?

I gently re-pressed each one - one at a time - back into place, and repeated several times while the contact cleaner was still wet and present and not yet evaporated. This should have shined up each contact and it's corresponding socket receptor. There were 5 or 6 of these ribbon cable terminal contacts all over the mother board and I repeated the process for each. They look somewhat like a centipede when you pull them up with all the tiny legs hanging down. Be very careful not to bend them when re-inserting. Press evenly across the terminal contacts surface to re-plug cable into socket. Thus far, and it's been 3 hours since having done this, no issues with SIM card again
but i'm not sure what those look like inside exactly and i don't feel like watching a disassembly vid.

I just bought a sony z3 compact about 1,5 month ago and got a problems with it. SD card keeps fucking up once i copy data on it i cant use it normally and cant use every data on it so when i disconnect it and want to reconnect it doesnt work. Tried already to format and other things.

So I thought I fixed this issue, but it still persists.
A few notes, this happens mostly when im using my two screens, when I play with only one the issue lessens, so it makes me think it could be a PSU issue.
Not only limited to gaming though, happens in desktop and when browsing the internet.
Already tried everything driver related, so I'm looking for some help to determine if its truly my gpu or the psu.
