I need a tablet for the sole purpose of watching movies, browsing and reading slides.
What I want:
>good aspect ratio (4:3, 3:2)
>good resolution (1080p or more)
>ability to run a torrent client
>ability to run a good video player with interlacing (mpv if possible)

Well if you can deal with jap, use dlsite to find things you like and sukebei to download them.
I personally recommend Kurovadis, a very engaging platformer with good sprites.
Vitamin Quest is one I haven't played but seen a bunch of talk about and the screenshots make it look good. Plus theres a second one coming out soon.

almost every free video software has FFmpeg under the hood. it's quite powerful, but not very userfriendly (command line tool).
if you want a GUI, Avidemux is a lightweight non-linear video editor for all your basic stuff.
if you need complex editing with multiple layers and tracks there is really no way around Blender. yes, the 3D modelling software. it has a very powerful video editor built in. sadly, the usability is abysmal. if you want to get into it, start right with video tutorials on YouTube. otherwise chances...

What in the fuck do i do? Im trying to fresh install my os because shit got messed up so i booted into ubuntu and formatted my main hard drives into FAT and then changed it to boot from a cd/dvd drive to install windows 7 and now this comes up and no matter what button i press nothing happens.

So I got this laptop with a €180 reduction. It's a lenovo z50-70, comes with i7-4510u, and a gt 840m, pretty nice when not home (I've got a desktop with an i5-6500 and gtx 970). It came with Windows 8.1, and a hella lot of bloat. I wanted to upgrade it to windows 10 and get rid of all the bloat, so I set up a windows 10 clean install usb, I booted up with the usb. The laptop has 6 partitions (forgot to take a picture), I chose to install windows 10 on the windows 8.1 partition. So on the first boot with windows 10, I see this screen. So it finally booted up (hdds are really slow if you're used to ssds), everything looks good right now. And here you see all the partitions, I renamed Windows8_OS to 10. First and last one seem to be for restoring (1000mb and 15,01gb), the second one is the oem-partition (shady shit imo, I was hesitant to buy lenovo, but it was very cheap compared to other laptops with comparable specs) the third on is an EFI-System partition (idk what this is supposed to be, first time in 7 years (I've been pretty involved with computers since 7 years) that I see this). This is how it's set up on my desktop pc.
I got rid of the name of the c drive and deleted the lenovo drive after doing some research and looking around the pc.
I want to read manga but have trouble reading on my pc(because distractions and screen aspect ratio) or my phone(screen too small) to the point where I just lose interest because of the problems.
Also live in a country where manga is almost non-existent and the ones I'm interested in are too fucking expensive on ebay since I need it translated.
I'm guessing that leaves me to getting a tablet, but I have no idea what kind to look for.
I'd like the screen to be of decent size so I don't have to zoom in too much(so likely 7-8' +) and have good battery life. Other specs really don't matter since I'm going to use it almost exclusively for reading.
I also don't have that much money so won't be able to just whip out $300 on the spot for something this simple.
Any recommendations or pointers where to start looking for?
No Apple products and also I'm in Europe so the market is different, but atleast i can order from german Amazon

Recommendations seem to point to the Kobo Aura Digital Text Reader for just black and white, or otherwise the Nexus 7.
