I'm typing this on my phone currently cause I'm stupid, I was about to install a gtx 560 ti in my dell Inspiron 3847. But then I considered searching up the wattage on the Inspiron 3847, which I found to be approx. 300w, I then checked the recommended wattage for a gtx 560 ti, which I found to be approx. 500w, what do I do? And hypothetically if I ran this how bad on a scale from knocking over a candle to Septa derailment would it kill my mediocre pc.

Alright, basic ass shit but someone left me ignorant. I'm a sophmore taking college algebra at my school. I understand linear equations easily enough for the most part, but our teacher neglected to cover how you calculate distance between two point when they're formatted as such (A,B) and (0,0). A quick pointer would do me a world of good, cause as far as I've been shown a line with this arrangement shouldn't even exist. Got some cool wallpapers on top of this one to share in exchange.

Usually that's the screen ribbon cable.
- download service manual from manufacturer
- buy new ribbon cable from ebay
- split laptop
- dismantle screen
- replace cable
- reassemble screen
- join laptop
If your laptop has a super-slim screen or a built-in Wacom, you might not be able to dismantle it, in which case you need a new one.
