hey guys so I recently got this tablet and after a software update last Saturday (07/02/2016) it got stuck in the "Samsung" start up screen. I have tried doing a factory reset to no avail, and I get an error every time I try to wipe the cache and I'm not sure of how to root it.

I originally planned to do a factory reset and then run SDelete six times, but I apparently deleted the recovery partition. What's the best way to make sure the information is not accessible to anyone (I'm dropping it off at a computer recycling place run by the county).
